A lone diner at an exclusive restaurant, captured on New York’s Central Park South. Nominated by the brilliant and gracious photographer Nick Board for Red Bubble’s Pay It Forward Group, who wrote, “Judith chronicles brilliantly, the life and times of New York City, mainly in Black and White, but my absolute favourite has to be, “Reservation for One”. In my eyes this is a masterpiece, trully evocative, and to me, captures isolation in the big city, just as memorably as Hopper did in the “jazz age”.“ Featured / Pay It Forward TWICE A HOME PAGE FEATURE SOLD Copyright

Who could watch the Cunninghsams every week & not be taken straight to the diner by this sight, even if it wasn’t “your generation” ??? This beautiful classic 59 was not only kitted out for the drive-in diner, it has authentic music pumping through the speaker … the total monotone experience! I drew this for a good friend of mine Ron; who loves rods, and has a pretty wicked imagination. I was trying to imagine a place where all the cars and characters that only ever existed in our imaginations reside. A parallel world, inspired by stories from Stephen King and T.V. shows like The Twilight Zone… I drew it as a rough pen sketch and then painted it in P’Shop.

Tommy’s Joynt is a traditional diner in San Francisco. I thought it was a great place to get a hamburger and a beer in surroundings with far more colour and atmosphere than any fast food chain could ever manage.
Prisma colored pencils. One of the pieces i did for the vegan restaurant on the river, Guerneville, Ca. A lot of Hell’s Angels live there, or drive through there, so i thought a Hell’s Angel Dog on a Harley might bring them into the restaurant. The restaurant went out of business b4 i got a chance to find out
This diner is on the main street of the Bradford County seat in Towanda, PA. The diner is very old and if I remember correctly it came from Pittsburg, PA and set up here. I have heard the food is really good but I haven’t eaten there. Taken with a Canon 50D camera, hand held and edited it in HDR and PS. Featured in The Keystone State – Pennsylvania group.
While we were waiting for our fish n’ chips to be ready, these were the stools in front of the other food kiosk. Took a little spin — then took a little picture :-) bleached out a touch of color and increased the tonal contrast.
