This design is by Australian cartoonist Dillon Naylor. His popular character Batrisha the Vampire Girl is seen internationally in the children’s magazine K-Zone. Batrisha’s official website is at www.batrisha.com. I’m hosting this design on Dillon’s behalf. At the time of writing, this is the only place you’ll find official, authorised Batrisha clothing. Check out the other Batrisha shirt design, also in my store. Black is given as an option for this shirt, but posts on the RedBubble forum have suggested black shirts might not print well. You have been warned! :) If you buy one of these shirts in black, please let us know how it turns out.
Lake Dillon, Colorado….. / Needless to say the morning I shot this, I was in total awe….it was quite an inspiring scene to see!
The painting is based on a photo I took on Dartmoor a few years ago. The light was fantastic and I’ve expanded on that to create this vibrant landscape.
Started in 2003, this painting got placed in the attic for 4 years while she pursued her career in graphic design. I competed this landscape in February 2008. Dragon Hill is the small hill located at the base of the Uffington White Horse Hill in the Vale of the White Horse.

The Dillon Regatta held every August on the lake is one of the most popular events of the summer. The sailboats with their colorful spinnakers appeal to everyone who comes to watch.
Dillon Lake is in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.

I love the way that all the dark clouds hung over the far side of the lake, but on my side there was just the most gorgoues light on the wildflowers in the foreground. Earlier in the day I had gotten a picture that was the complete opposite of this one…but, I liked this one best. Dillon Lake, Colorado

A wonderful time of year…a touch of snow still on the mountains and fields full of wildflowers! In this case…Red Indian Paintbrush. Taken near the town of Dillon, Colorado on a beautiful July afternoon in 2006.

What catches your eye in this photo is really not what the photo is about…the little ‘sticks (for lack of a better word!)’ are just for creating shape as the leather around them sets and hardens. These sections of leather are called ‘hondas’ and are, in essence, what make a reata (throw rope for roping) able to function properly. Randy Rieman is the creator of this particular set of hondas (and many others!). He was taught by the best, Bill Dorrance (click to read more about Bill and his fascinating life), years ago, and now carries the torch of braiding reatas.
More of the process of creating a honda for a reata (throw rope). It’s a long, long process, and anywhere around 30 hours goes into creating one reata.
This is my lovely middle son Dillon, The Cushion Ring he is trying to put his head through is a support for Indian Drums. The ring sits on the Floor and the drum goes in the middle. My little boy decided he wanted to wear it, Bless!
The Frisco.Colorado marina is on Lake Dillon. The evening is a perfect time for a visit. The light is soft and the colors of the sky are lovely no matter which way you look. This view is to the south. HDR applied with tripod / Canon 40D / Lens 17-85mm
