The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. NOW AVAILABLE IN PRINT After some weeks of developing this piece in my mind it finally just started to come together. As usual I went at the theme with something different in mind. What are we to say about how the divine eye sees our world or we may see the divine world in comparison to our own. This thought inspired a more surreal feel to the finished product. One of my favorite Rock songs of all time RIDERS ON THE STORM by the DOORS,its errie melody and lyrics still hold me in a trance when I hear it. This is my visual interpretation of the song. The tarot card THE CHARIOT, the Chariot reflects power of our unconscious needs and the importance of knowing how to direct them in a purposeful and powerful way. Ultimately this card is asking to take up the reins and understand what is driving us. / I used some original photos, clip art and stock photos to create it.
