What you see here is the first of seven works of art to be posted over the next seven days – the results of a seven day smackdown between myself, and the fabulous Angi Sullins and Silas Toball – where Angi made a traditional collage, and then gave it to Silas and I, letting us loose on it with our photoshop skills. :) Here is a link to their page: / Here is Silas’ version: / And here is Angi’s original art collage that we worked from: /

  • I also experimented with this image in photoshop. I cut, cropped and merged two flowers from two different pictures together. I dusted them lightly with clouds (photoshop brushes) of different colors, basic brushes, special effect brushes and sharpened the image (filter gallery). I also altered the color (filter forge) and detail. Then I added swirls and leaves (more photoshop brushes) and added some style to it. I love the way this came out!!

  • This time I have used: - a picture of the sea / - a picture of the sky, both taken at the Suffolk coast. / - a picture of ivy growing on a wall / - a picture of a tree trunk, both taken at Sawston Hall. • I am getting alot of questions about the rendering time of Incendia! It’s important to know it’s never done so don’t wait for it to finish, you have to stop and check for the detail regularly and save it when you are satisfied with the amount of detail showing! Here’s a little collage, a detail of a very large file, rendered in Incendia 1.3 the first is after a couple hours of rendering, the second after a day, the third after two days and the fourth after three days, as you can see the detail gets more clear all the time. Hope this helps a bit! The new Incendia 1.3 is now available to the public, please check it out and give it a try and if you like it make a donation to get the HighRez version, you won’t regret it, it is BRILLIANT!! Wishing you all a fabulous and creative week! KUS! daisy~’*-
