The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. Hosier Lane in Melbourne, Australia. A result of 9 images (3 HDR’s) done in Photomatix. Merged the HDR’s in photoshop using automate > Photomerge. Amphibia Bubblemania / Like frogs? When i was a youngin, my mum, Suzie, drove us around everywhere in a little bright green gemini, named aptly ‘Suzie’s Tree frog” / Her tenpin bowling league team name was ‘The tree frogs’ / and she adores frog sculptures, bric a brac…anything frog related! / I grew up surrounded by cute lil froggies everywhere lol.. / even had some pet ones for awhile, but they didnt get along too well with our tortoise :) / My mum, Suzie, She was very inspirational in the making of this piece. Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer, a digitizing tablet and stylus, and software. Digital painting differs from other forms of digital art, particularly computer-generated art, in that it does not involve the computer rendering from a model. The artist uses painting techniques to create the digital painting directly on the computer. / I create the painting, directly on my PC, by using a Wacom tablet, a stylus pen and ArtRage painting software. The Wacom tablet can be compared to a canvas or watercolor paper surface. The stylus pen is my paintbrush.
