I’ll be easy to spot out on opening night, I’ll be the big bloke running around like a headless chook! Cats in Space – Prologue to a series Big brother, Cruiser, has fallen deep asleep, with his two little sisters at his back. He begins to dream of space-scapes (that he obviously had seen on my computer screen, over my shoulder, while laying on the back of my computer chair.) Little sisters are taken away with him, on a dream journey to far away places in the universe. Some of these places are awe inspiring, while others are downright scary! I think the girls will be happy when Cruiser wakes up!

I apologize for lack of commenting the last few days, but between work and this series just haven’t had the time. This is the 1st in what turned out to be a series of 5. I didn’t know it would be a series when I did this one, but one thing leads to another. Then, the 4th one came to me when I saw snoopy in an apophysis, which turned the series around. I hope you like it, or are at least amused. / / A Gigantic planet-like object has been traveling from a nearby solar system / headed for the earths orbit around the sun. This giant is in constant / communication with a moonbase that has been monitoring and interacting / with earths affairs for over 2000 years. “They” have been largely responsible for / disinformation about ufo’s and alien encounters. “They” also control the media / and influence governments and religions worldwide. When the attack and / takeover occurs we won’t even see it coming! / They are now in orbit and mustering their warships for the final takeover! It won’t be long now……. / The first blow to anesthetize our defenses. It looks like there may be some collateral damage to the moon base, however. Maybe we’ll have a chance.? The invaders bring in the big guns! This is where it got crazy when I spotted what looked like Snoopy in an Apophysis, that turned my mind in another direction. / / Under cover of apophysis fractals, a patriotic beagle in a sopwith camel confronts the invading force. Maybe we do have a chance! Victory! / / I see a Sopwith Camel parked on the big gunship, and it’s shooting holes in it’s own mother planet! The saucers have exploded and are disintegrating! The patriotic beagle has commandeered the gunship and has saved our planet!

I wanted to start out this journal entry by giving thanks to a few bubblers who (for reasons I will never quite understand) purchased something of mine recently. First off, a while back an exceptionally talented lady by the name of RAVENSOUL purchased a print of LONELY AT THE BOTTOM That’s right, I said a PRINT! This woman shelled out a nice little chunk of change for this thing and not only am I thankful, but extremely flattered as well. be sure to check out her work. Really amazing stuff. Another talented person of the farer sex by the name of MICHELLE WHELAN dropped some cash on a EVIL 80’s ACTION FIGURES T-shirt! Michelle does a lot of interesting stuff worth taking a look at, but her Transformer shots have always been my favorites. Lastly, the multi-talented songstress TANIA ROSE plunked down some dough on a MY GOOD BUDDY CARROT NOSE CARD not too long ago, to which I am of course grateful. Be sure to check out her work, and her music as her voice is really something special. Recently I’ve been putting out a lot of T-shirts with a lot of goofy little characters on them. Well, I’ve taken the characters and put them into a calendar that I actually think it pretty cool. (Not to toot my own horn or anything.) FROM THE DIGITAL FILES OF SPACEKID The calendar features twelve months of twelve funky aliens, each accompanied by a story about what happened when SpaceKid met them. The stories range from funny, somewhat funny, to so weird that they are kind of funny – and each one is extremely KID FRIENDLY. (Though, if a jaded old sack like me can enjoy them, then I suppose just about anyone can). If you’re in the mood for something a bit different when it comes to your days of the year, then I think this could be right up your alley! Alright, that’s enough pathetic schilling for the day, I think it’s time for bed. Oh, before I go, I’m on Facebook now, so if anyone wants to look me up and send me a friend request be my guest. I wanted to thank all the wonderful people here at RedBubble! When I first came here a few months ago I was a little lost when it came to my art. Being I have never had artistic training I was missing many elements to complete my art. Due the fantastic inspiration of all the fantastic artists here I am finally beginning to understand many of my missing elements..i.e. perspective, color ordination, scene placement..etc. I want to thank each and everyone of you who has supported my art and given me fantastic guidance, I would not be able to advance without all of your help!!!!
