  • I thought it was cute and humorous…. / . / . / Did you order this item today? In appreciate I’d like you to know: Ten percent of all my proceeds go to The Mount Dora Center For The Arts, who has provided quality art experiences in the Lake County region of Central Florida. They are a community oriented 501©(3) charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering an understanding and appreciation of art and culture through exhibitions, arts education programs and being host to the annual Mount Dora Arts Festival. / The remaining proceeds go towards purchasing higher quality programming and program accessories, to create my art. In todays world of computer technology, programs are ever changing, advancing, and improving quality, of course they can be quiet expensive as well. So please know when you buy my art youre investing in me as an artist and helping to advance my skills, and helping a small community art center to continue providing children and adults of all ages to partisipate and learn about art. I appreciate your support and hope you enjoy the selection you have purchased today. Sincerely, / Lisa C. Weber

  • Layers of apophysis.

  • This is another shot I got with my point and shoot from one of the outdated transporters. The driver said,”Sure these are old craft, but how fast do you want to go in crystal city? You break it, you buy it!” I thought that a bit humorous, however these craft do have great advantages, like the ability to hover so I could get a decent shot. Besides the breakage problem, with the new FTSOL (faster than speed of light)model’s you’d get to the theatre before you even left the apartment! Not too cool.

  • Another version using the same apophysis as I used in Insomniac /

  • Lisa C. Weber ©2008 (Created with Bryce 6.1) Visit My Complete Bubble for all My 3D Artwork. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy!

  • Built around an apophysis rendering that looked sort of like a waterfall.

  • One in a series of digital photograms / from my “Lifeform”project

  • Under cover of apophysis fractals, a patriotic beagle in a sopwith camel confronts the invading force. Maybe we do have a chance!

  • I see a Sopwith Camel parked on the big gunship, and it’s shooting holes in it’s own mother planet! The saucers have exploded and are disintegrating! The patriotic beagle has commandeered the gunship and has saved our planet! / Click Here / to see the whole series from the beginning. Just click next, etc. / It’s funny how these projects turn out, I had no Idea in the beginning that a beagle would be the hero and save the planet, lol.

  • Moon #4 / You are looking at moon #4 of the planet eseehcneerg in a / solar system in a galaxy far away. At 1st glance you would think this / moon base was being invaded by some flying creatures. In fact, / these are inhabitants of moon #3 coming to worship at the / serehpsneerg shrine, and the multicolored hovercraft are greeting / them. / The serehpsneerg shrine was esablished on this moon / because it is the only viewpoint of the twin moons of the planet / eseehcneerg, which are revered as a twin god they call / serehpsneerg. / The inhabitants of this planet have discovered a unique / way of building their structures. There is no building material on this / moon other than the sand, with which they make the green opaque / glass for their apartments and viewports. Therefore they have / developed a method of “growing” the structure. Rather than cutting / down forests, and wasting fuel to ship it to the moon, they “grow” / the structure right there at the location! / Through genetic manipulation the tree is designed to grow / hollow, with rock hard outer bark. They plant the seed, and in 3 sraey / they have the shell to build their city! Ingenious!

  • my first try with sci-fi digital painting.

  • They missed these two planets, but there are other planets in this galaxy at risk.

  • Supernova….implosion….expansion of a galaxy! / Just a theory ; )

  • Part of the Galatea series. / Available for sale as: / Laminated Prints, Cards, Posters, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints

  • Model – Stormcrow stock.deviantart.com / Background – Imageafter.com A popular children’s author has figured out how to get millions of children to read and Christians can’t decide whether or not this is a good thing. All of this hand wringing is done over the fact that the stories feature a boy wizard. Christians should fear no myth nor hold any in disdain. In Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings” books Gandalf, a wizard, advises Frodo that evil is not the only power in the world, there is also good.5 Gandalf’s wizardry in the story is meaningful and entertaining. However, the practice of magic in reality is a vain attempt to control the things that God controls. In like manner, Superman is a fictional character who can fly and believes in the principles of truth and justice.6 To believe in these same principles as Superman does is a good thing, but to go throwing ourselves off buildings with the expectation that we can fly is not. In the Spider-man story Peter Parker learns how dramatically his actions affect others and he contemplates the phrase, with great power comes great responsibility.7 Words that we would all do well to remember. To go about in reality trying to be bitten by a radioactive spider in order to gain super powers would miss the point of the story. These myths are powerful stories that cause people to ponder the meaning of life which is a necessary prelude to faith. /

  • Fractal design created with Incendia. I gave it a subtle structure with Photoshop. / Designer: Thea Walstra / CanDuCreations / /

  • (The Planet Aurora images are linked into a story, to read it in it’s entirety click HERE ) / Planet Aurora: / Not a lot is known about the place except what we can scan from orbit. The first expedition’s report described an incredibly temperate Earth-type planet under a yellow sun, very lush plant life, no sign of human presence. But their reports stopped suddenly, and we are assigned to investigate. There had been no emergency reported, and the benign nature of this beautiful world suggests equipment malfunction. And as team Bravo systems engineer, my pack is the heaviest, containing replacement parts for their communications gear. We parked our small lander and quickly found one of the 10 entrances to this massive labyrinth, last reported location of Alpha team, and right away the debate begins, how can a natural formation be so symmetrical, and why, if no civilization has been found, is there a pervading sense of ruins everywhere you look? • (The Planet Aurora images are linked into a story, to read it in it’s entirety click HERE ) / All four of us are in high spirits though, the summer-like weather, the continuous pervasive scent of flowers and beautiful landscape lending to an almost holiday mood, but I am bothered by the sheer vertical walls in this maze, and looking back toward the entryway, I have a profound feeling of having forgotten something. • (The Planet Aurora images are linked into a story, to read it in it’s entirety click HERE ) / I better get back to the team, the sun appears to be sinking, and I seem to have spent more time up here enjoying the view than I realized, the warm sun and perfumed breeze are almost intoxicating. Well, I can hear my team members laughing uproariously in the distance, but they could have waited for me, I started to call out to them, but just couldn’t, it would just be wrong to disturb the utter tranquility of my surroundings. Good thing I got rid of that heavy pack and annoying helmet, the sun appears to be sinking, so now I can catch up with them. • A science fiction fantasy of a depleted planet, Patrol of Sector 9 is part of an ongoing series that I work on from time to time. /
