As I spend much time living with the Kambari tride, I get to know first hand the challanges they face each day just to survive. I also have the privilege of capturing not only hunger, sickness and often death, but the more happy occassions. This is Grace, and when I first met Grace in April 2007, she was suffering from Chronic Malnutrition. This was taken in December 2007, and the differnce is wonderful. We as a Charity depend on People like yourself, who donate time in Prayer and Finance to help us provide help and support for Grace and many others like her. I thank you all so much for your help. A street photo taken at Changi Airport, Singapore. Using the natural light as backlighting, these people were quickly snapped in silhouetted as they were walking away. I’m surprised how similar these people are. They echoed each other in terms of being in a pair. Also, the pairs in the foreground are single dad with their only child. All this captured at the time 16:57.

Thanks for your help George Lenz / Layers and blends used in PhotoShop… / By using Photoshop, I used 4 different layers here to configure this piece. He has come to guide our way. / Give us direction and the right words to say. / The Golden Rule is a path seldom followed. / Too many people are emptied out and hollowed. / He will spread kindness and trust to those with no faith. / The people he touches will feel warm and safe. / He is here for one reason and that is so clear. / To bring hope and love to a world filled by fear. / His strength is great and his power is defined. / Not one foolish heart, will he leave behind. My husband was the hand model…He was cupping his hands around a birthday candle…I told him to get closer…he said, it’s hot…I said…it’s in the name of art…shut up and feel the burn…hee hee…..and I got this image… / I cut out his hands….put them on the black BG….made lil white hearts…layed red and yellow on the hearts and just kinda crammed them in there…and between the fingers…clipping and cutting away at peices of the hearts to make them look like they were peeking out… after I got to this point I sat looking at it….trying to figure out what else I should do….and Craig walked by and said how perfect it was….”don’t change a thing”….so I didn’t…I trust his oppinion….lol

I originally intended this shot to be a picture of my son holding onto these balloons and taking off, floating into up into the sky … a fantasy, sotybook sort of image. However, my daughter immediately grabbed these balloons from him and started running off. So, as it turned out this eded up having a more realistic look than the one I originally intended, but I thought it turned out pretty cute with the desaturated colors throughout, except for the colorful balloons.

Created in Apophysis 3D hack. This is one of my favorite fractals. I think the title is very fitting for this image, the curves, the colors, an abstract view of desire, love, compassion and lust. I love how smooth and curvacious it turned out. Can you tell that this actually came from the parameters of A Pinch of Blue ?
