Photographic based digital montage, 2007 (no 2 from series of 3 re-worked). Shot two seperate models & combined them. Draw in & enhanced part of the headpeice, body, dress, added fringe to face, made the features more angular, blew up lips, created cheekbones, reworked branches, filtered wallpaper effects, extended chandelier, added lacework/flower elements, desaturated & added a sepia tone. Approximately 50 Photoshop layers.

Echinacea purpurea (purple coneflower) with a dark twist. This was the first of my Dark Dreams flower series, most of which I have pulled from redbubble. It was also one of my first images here. Obviously it was photoshoped. I get a lot of questions about why there are scratches on it, it was to give it an old aged look. The texture would make it a great canidate for a canvas print… hint hint ;) This is the original: / I believe this is the largest image in my portfolio, and that is because it was taken with my old 35 mm SLR, then scanned in (I have a really good scanner that scans really big) If you are seeing this image in a group for the first time, that is because I just realized it wasn’t in any groups! I must have cleared it out to make room for newer stuff. This peice was my very first one chosen on the Featured Art page and was featured in Ebony and Ivory group. After a very long winter (so far) I needed something that sang Spring time is just around the corner! After a lot of fuss, and several hours, in Photoshop and Painter X this is the final result. Every pixel of this piece was re-painted (digitally) by hand. All of the apple blossoms and leaves were created from scratch. As a final touch I added some texture to the piece to give it that last little edge I was looking for. Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer, a digitizing tablet and stylus, and software. Digital painting differs from other forms of digital art, particularly computer-generated art, in that it does not involve the computer rendering from a model. The artist uses painting techniques to create the digital painting directly on the computer. / I create the painting, directly on my PC, by using a Wacom tablet, a stylus pen and ArtRage painting software. The Wacom tablet can be compared to a canvas or watercolor paper surface. The stylus pen is my paintbrush.

The sunlight through the petals and leaves looked lovely against the backdrop of the snow outside. Our short days make sunshine seem all the more precious, even indoors. PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION. [AS IS} / I am a missionary, born in Northern Ireland and living in London. my passion in life is to help the poor in rural and isolated villages in Africa and India. Abhijeet in Hindu language means “one who is victorious, a star”. She certainly lives up to her name. 3 years old and already has faced abuse, and hunger. She was close to death and in much pain. Abijeet is one child we rescued through The INDIAN NEW LIFE MISSION, based in India. Her smile melted my heart and as I was told her story I could not help give God thanks for the few Indian Christians that reached out to her. With little money, they took her into the Orphanage, where now she is cared for. I now have sponsored Abijeet and for only £10 per month, she is fed, clothed and will attend a full education when she is old enough. I do not get financial funding from any Church, My own income is little. But I made my mind up a long time ago to share what God has blessed me with with the poor. I have not gone hungry, nor my family. I rent my home, and drive a car. My children are all educated and blessed by God. I have lacked nothing,because blesses the sower. Gods burning Love and Passion for the outcast and poor burns deep within my heart, and hopefully can be seen throgh my life and camera lens. Abijeet is a shining star and a true testimony of what Love and sharing can do. Please Pray for me, that I can bless many more suffering children like Abijeet. Strengthen my arm in Gods mission to reach the hurting of this world with his love and care. Pray and do what the Lord lays on your heart. You will become richer for it.
