Pushing Photoshop and Kai to try and summon the essence (again) of spring, rather than the particulars.
Another one I did last spring … I don’t have this framed yet but I did have it printed at 20×20 or 24×24 I forget. It came out very nice other than the fact that I paid extra to have it printed on a high quality matte finished paper. It had marks on it before I even unrolled it. I’ll never get that matte paper again.

This modigraph (MODI-fied photo-GRAPH) was created by combining three original photographs. The background was created by combining two photos of a flower that I massaged in a variety of ways to create the landscape with “pond”. I then added the orchids – which began life potted in a greenhouse – and its rippled reflection.
