Don’t worry, I will be digging him out later!!!
Yes, they are my feet and I’m relaxing on the beach watching the kids play in the water. I gave this image some texture and it reminds me of a very lazy, Aussie summer’s day at the beach.

last sunday was in cades cove in the great smoky mountains. came upon a bear jam (everyone stops in middle of road and gets out of car to check out bear!) / this Huge mama was with one of her cubs, along side the road / she found this stump, and didnt really care we all were fairly close, she was after the termites. / unfortunately for her, she has been tagged twice, due to humans causing her to react. if she goes after another and the park finds out…they will kill her. / its time the humans are held accountable for their actions towards these animals, after all we are in Their Home, not our’s. as much as i hated to do it, i did have to lighten this up some due to some dense woods and a cloudy day, im still sick about it! lol

Tucker loves to dig and always has. I once needed to dig around a stump so I could cut it off at ground level, I started digging and Tucker was immediately interested, he dug until he had uncovered most of the stump. It took him two days but he loved every minute of it. Now when I can’t find him the first place I go look is at a nearby foxes den, I often arrive to see only a Tucker tail sticking out of the den.
a lil something something for tha sound challenge it’s also my first design of 09 hope you dig

Terry Southern is, without a doubt, one of my favorite writers of all time. If you don’t know who he is: now, you do Or, if you’re too lazy to click that link, here are just a few quick facts about the guy: - He’s the only guy sporting shades on the cover of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s album. / - He co-wrote Dr. Strangelove with Stanley Kubrick, and is largely responsible for shifting the tone of the film from stone sober cautionary tale to ludicrous cautionary tale. / -He once wrote a short story that culminated in the revelation of President Nixon’s sick addiction to rimming the amputated anuses of dead Viet Cong, shipped fresh to him daily from the DMZ. If that doesn’t tickle your funny bone, I don’t know what will. / -Along with William Burroughs, Jean Genet, and Allen Ginsberg, he experienced and documented first-hand the federally instigated massacre at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. This is another one of those one hour portraits I’ve been doing. Had this one sitting around for a while, and finally decided to upload it today. Hope you dig it. Oils on 8” x 10” canvas panel.
I really do! Art-nouveau style. My dad helped me with the lipstick… I had used a yellow lipstick on her that was kinda atrocious. By the way, i only use photographs to mark the outlines of the face. Everything else (Lighting, texture, volume, colors, etc…) is done by hand with a pen tablet.
King of the Blaxploitation and Grindhouse flicks! Shut yo mouth…but I’m talkin’ bout Shaft…then we can DIG IT! John Shaft!

Boys collecting lugworm from the beach before going fishing. The small dots over the sand area are called casts, where the worm pushes sand out, to make a burrow, to hide until the next tide arrives.
