    I am proud to announce that I am the Co-Chairman and Co-Organizer / for The International Fine Art Society of San Diego. The International Fine Art Society – San Diego (IFAS-SD) is an organization / for all those who enjoy the Fine Arts and would like to share their experiences with others. We encourage artists, painters, photographers, sculptors, graphic designers, gallery owners, etc. to join and actively participate. However, it is important to note that you do not have to be art smart; you just have to be able to enjoy art, as well as to meet with others with the same interests. You also don’t have to be an artist, have artistic talent, or be affiliated with the art industry to join this group, just an appreciation of Fine Arts! The Mission of the IFAS-SD is to both encourage and support the creation of and appreciation of Fine Art with particular emphasis on painting, drawing, sculpture and photography. We do this through events such as Meet the Artist seminars, community art walks, art education and appreciation events, by attending gallery openings, touring museums, art discussion events and many other interesting and fun events.     We are excited to announce the International Fine Art Society – SD (IFAS-SD) is meeting up for the 2009 La Jolla Festival of The Arts IFAS-SD will be getting together Sat, June 20th at 11:30am to enjoy the La Jolla Festival of the Arts This is one group gathering you will not want to miss!!! What Is IFAS-SD All About? IFAS-SD is a group for all those who enjoy the Fine Arts and would like to share their experiences with others. We encourage artists, painters, photographers, sculptors, graphic designers, gallery owners, etc. to join and actively participate. All The Juicy Details… / The La Jolla Festival of the Arts ™ will be held June 20-21, 2009, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, on the UCSD east campus at the corner of Genesee Ave and Regents Rd. Admission price is $10 per person; active military personnel with ID are free. Parking is free. The venue is completely disabled-accessible. All animals except disabled-assist dogs are prohibited. They are also offering a $2 discount on admission when you sign up for their e-mail newsletter. The La Jolla Festival of the Arts is among the top rated art shows in California. The Festival hosts over 190 award-winning local and national artists displaying watercolors, oils, sculpture, serigraphs, fine jewelry, photography, and more. You can also expect to enjoy a variety of cuisines in the festival food area, listen to live entertainment, and participate in special events. This event is produced annually by the Torrey Pines Kiwanis Foundation, proceeds from the Festival support recreational and educational programs for San Diegans with disabilities.
