This is Bruno he works INSIDE Sector 7G. At the moment he is monitoring core temperature. He has a lot of dials to look at. He also wears King Gee pants for safety.
that’s a nun, in case you wondered
This is Bruno – he works at the real Sector 7G – he has so many more dials to look at today, he’d rather be out watching the new Simpsons Movie!
This is a high res scan of a vintage capacitor label (1940s) from an old bakelite radio. I loved the old style graphics and typography. This is a special version for black shirts. Hope you like it.
I did this ink drawing back in 1992 for fun after I learned a time consuming process of simply making ink dots while in my Graphic Arts class. I loved the outcome of this so much that I had it framed. I happened to see it a few days ago and decided to photograph it—to share with all of you. A mistress is a man’s long term sexual partner and companion. Historically, the term has denoted a kept woman who is maintained in a comfortable (or even lavish) lifestyle by a wealthy man so that she will be available for his sexual pleasure; essentially a kind of highly expensive, single-client prostitute. Today however, it is used primarily to refer to the companion of a man who is married to another woman; in the case of an unmarried man it is usual to speak of a girlfriend or partner. The relationship is generally stable and at least semi-permanent; however, the couple do not live together openly. Historically a man kept a mistress. As the term implies, he was responsible for her debts and provided for her in much the same way as he did his wife. In more recent and emancipated times, it is more likely that the mistress has a job of her own, and is less, if at all, financially dependent on the man. It is not uncommon for a man to have acknowledged children by his mistress.

Location: Redding California / Technique: HDR / Workflow: 6+ Raws / Equip: Canon 5D OG Featured in Group: / “Northern California Style” – March 11, 2009 / “Night Photography” – April 19, 2009 This Bridge is very special to my Wife and I because my Daughter took her fist couple steps here. Since it was dark out that night the Bridge illuminated perfectly, enough for a 1yr old to be curious why the ground was lit. I was not able to see my Sons first steps because I was working over seas and promised I will be there for my Daughter when she takes hers. You often find things like these diskettes laying about, or hard drives and backup tapes etc. I often wonder what is on them, but i have a firm rule about not taking any artefacts from a site. I have known someone recover a video tape from a demolished site though and recover the content to find a training video for the site from when it was active which was really interesting.

Yesteryear’s window… ...but with a dash of modern day. Vintage meets modern. If you look closely, you will see the back side of a FedEx envelope, a spray bottle of 409, a roll of paper towels, a jar of peanut butter, as well as two boxes of Halogen spot lights. Time! – what a subject! what is time really / when is the right time / time used wisely or squandered / rich moments or emptiness so much we “measure” in time … yet, time is such a subjective thing … We can hear the ominous boom of the clock up in the tower … / or the light and bright little ticktock of a smiley faced clock on the mantle ... so what is time really? ohhhhh what a delight! Time’s illusion was featured in ImageWriting 03.05.2009 … an honour and delight – thank you so much! Featured in Friends of Bangor and North Down Camera Club 01.06.2009 – thank you kindly! vu meter I bought this myself on a brown T / The red in the image is quite faint (not sure if other colour T’s will be the same) / This gives the image a sort of aged feel which i quite like. Just thought i would let you know if you were considering it.
