A macro shot of a pink Leopard Lily
This lioness was up so early one morning that the dew still clung to her chin. I like the way the cub looks up to her as she stares ahead. / / (Masai Mara – Kenya) / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /
had to grab a chance and shoot some inbetween rainshowers today, it amazed me how the tulips held the water on their petals / i shot this macro using a nikon diopter lens attached to a canon 75-300mm lens..and nope..didnt have to bend like a pretzel on this one, used my tripod :)
This was taken early one foggy and soggy morning in Colorado as the sun rose to shine through the dewdrops. Another trip into the ditch and several odd stares by early-morning hikers…but it is so worth it. :) “Please see my Etsy listing for this image – and purchase a pearlescent metallic print of this photograph.:http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=19111932 This wonderful treasure is one of several taken that morning. If it wasn’t for everyone else out there in the “real” world, I might forget there are actually 4 seasons somewhere in this world! We’re all rather mixed up here but as spring starts to arrive in different parts of the world, I’ll join the crowd, if not in real life, for sure in the hope of new life to abound at this most wonderful time of the year! These Snowdrops often arrive even as the snow is still melting, blending in with their natural habitat

I have just changed the backgrounds behind these water drops to get the different colours and effects. Taken with a Canon EOS 400D and 150mm macro lens.

Caught this yellow rosebud early one morning as a heavy dew still sparkled like diamonds on the petals.
Sunday morning, 28th June, saw the valley below our house filled with mist. It ebbed and flowed for an hour or so until the rising sun warmed it and it slowly dispersed. All the leaves and flowers were soaked from the saturated air, the suspended droplets reminding me of Lyn and Lisa’s amazing shots.
