The fog that rolls in over the land from Western Port Bay (Victoria) is just wonderful. Here, I took a shot along the boardwalk over the mangroves of Bittern. It was an incredibly frosty morning and the sun was barely able to show its self through the fog.

I awoke this morning to very dense fog. Bad lighting for photography, but perfect for finding nature’s little wonders. I found this tiny web in one of my catalpa trees. As much as I dislike spiders, I deeply respect their ability to create such beauty. / Nikon D40 18-55mm Nikkor Lens
My eldest daughter and I early one morning saw this broken down Spiders web on the grass covered in dew, after all that hard work the spider had placed in making his web. It wa so beautiful however shimmering in the dew….like a Spiders Dream. Photo take by Canon IXUS
Took this as the sun was rising over the ocean and streaming through the thick morning mist and into the dew covered trees…...

The angle of the morning sun struck this spiderweb just right and it shimmered with rainbow colors. Each dew drop collected refracting just the right color.
