“In hot summer afternoons, dragonflies dance in the warm air. Their acrobatic flight defies gravity. Mastering the power of obstacle avoidance, these active creatures like to rest atop flower stems. “Quietly lying by her barn, this pretty ewe made me stop my bicycle ride to pay her a visit. In a placid cool afternoon, she greeted me with a sweet glance and a calm disposition. Her face was beautiful and her eyes melted my heart. Surrounding a sea of amber and golden hues, her long white eyelashes framed surprisingly bright eyes. / / Taking close-ups on her adorable face, a rainbow of colours and patterns unveiled: the iris wore fine lines defining a gradient of rich earth colours. Her eyes sparked like jewels. “An old Cherry tree graces my garden. For many years the Cherry tree has kept me company in the afternoon hours bathed in warm sunlight. In wintertime, the dark and rugged bark endures bitter snowy days and shows signs of a long life lived. / / Much to my surprise, one day during this spring part of its old and worn bark became loose to reveal outstanding vibrant colours underneath.
