A surrealistic piece I did ages ago. It’s possibly the illustration I’m most proud of. I had put a lot of time and effort developing this style for myself. It borrows aspects of anime movie style illustration from movies such as – Ghost in the shell and Patlabor, aswell as every Hayao Miyazaki film. It was hand drawn. I started with the Geisha then added the other elements separately similarly to how an animator might build up a scene. Detail:

/ Sailor Girl is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper, I used ink, pastel, and some acrylic…..inks are mainly black, acrylics are mainly white, you can see the canvas texture showing through the pastel, which gives it a nice textured appeal I am really into sailing boats, hope you like this one :D Here’s another one available in a print at last!

The Man in the Moon is an imaginary figure resembling a human face, head or body, that observers from some cultural backgrounds typically perceive in the bright disc of the full moon. The figure is composed of the dark areas (the lunar maria, or “seas”) and lighter highlands of the lunar surface….Moonshadow .am feeling very close to the Moon lately it must be on the wax or wane or something lol! definately close!.....a first experimental digital creation inspired by The song by Cat’Moonshadow- layered a lunar cell onto a starry sky/lensflare/aetherized/cloned/painted the man on the moon/softened/blurred in etc; .NRDC ..Asthma and Air Pollution..Bad air can bring on asthma attacks, even in healthy people; controlling pollution from cars, factories and power plants can help….featured in ‘Art by Bubble Hosts’.....

With this image I cut out these gorgeous flowers and added cloud brushes in different shades of blue. I then added a leaf swirl with a photoshop brush and added some style to it. For the finishing touches, I sharpened the image and cloned some spots to create darker shades. /
