Mole is a type of rodent that lives underground, a spy working under deep cover, a Mexican sauce made from chili peppers and other spices, a small spot of darkened pigment on the skin, underground hip hop personality, and for those who haven’t heard, Mole Day is the special Holiday.

A laptop computer, or simply laptop also notebook computer or notepad, is a small mobile computer, which usually weighs 2-18 pounds (around 1 to 8 kilograms), depending on size, materials, and other factors. Laptops usually run on a single main battery or from an external AC/DC adapter which can charge the battery while also supplying power to the computer itself. Many computers also have a 3 volt cell to run the clock and other processes in the event of a power failure. As Personal computers, laptops are capable of the same tasks as a desktop computer, although they are typically less powerful for the same price. They contain components that are similar to their desktop counterparts and perform the same functions, but are miniaturized and optimized for mobile use and efficient power consumption. Laptops usually have liquid crystal displays and most of them use different memory modules for their random access memory (RAM), for instance, SO-DIMM in lieu of the larger DIMMs. In addition to a built-in keyboard, they may utilize a touchpad (also known as a trackpad) or a pointing stick for input, though an external keyboard or mouse can usually be attached.

In most armies of the world, soldiers who are not officers can work their way through the ranks to obtain a commission. A soldier who no longer serves in the armed forces is often called a veteran, a term which can also apply to a long-serving or experienced soldier who is still in the army.

The Greyhound is a breed of dog that has been primarily bred for coursing game and racing. A combination of long, powerful legs, deep chest and aerodynamic build allows it to reach speeds of up to 72 km/h (45 mph)[1] in less than one and a half seconds, or within 3 strides. Until the early twentieth century, greyhounds were principally bred and trained for coursing. Melbourne Mural / The store was built in 1853 and named Dimelow and Gaylard before the colloquial name was adopted in 1904. That building was destroyed by fire in 1907 and the existing structure was designed by Melbourne architects H. W. & F. B. Tompkins. The clock tower was erected in 1910 and the building’s name changed again to Dimmeys Model Stores to reflect its high fashion status in working-class Richmond. In 2004, artist Hayden Dewar was commissioned to paint a series of murals representing the history of the store and Victoria along the Green Street facade.

The Cardinal returns to my bit of desert in the winter, or Christmas season. This started as a pen and ink sketch in my Canson Sketch book. I imported it into Photoshop elements and have made a number of adjustment/enhancements. This art is again an experiment in many aspects.

The Public Works Department of Victoria designed and built this in 1878-9 to replace an earlier post office. It is an excellent example still in good condition of this design. Taken with Pentax 1st DS camera
