The Bardi people are from the Dampier Peninsula situated around 200 kilometres north-east of Broome, Western Australia. They are coastal people who have looked to the land, open waters, tidal flats and mangrove creeks for thousands of years for food, law and traditions. Even to this day Bardi people continue to practice their culture and to live this way of life. A view from Cinnor Hill overlooking the Buckinghamshire countryside in England. Needing a change from shooting in an urban environment I went for a drive seeking narrow country lanes, some decent views and somewhere interesting to walk. I found a pathway to the top of this hill in the Chilterns. Read more about this shoot here: Canon 10D / 1/80-th sec at f 16 / 30mm on 15-30mm Sigma / ISO 100 Tweaked in Lightroom then taken into Photoshop for HDR treatment to reclaim detail in the sky and to lighten the foreground log. Created 3 layers and used different set of curves for each layer, deleting unwanted sections in each. This photograph was made just a few yards from this one:
