From the ‘Friends’ Series by karin Taylor comes Flying Saucers….. / / Here’s one I did quite a while ago called ‘Flying Saucers’..... / I had a wonderful time for a while creating these little prints! / I would create a design on paper, transfer it to foam. / Then using a knife, cut into the foam – not all the way thru.. / ink the foam, blot and stamp!!! The best fun ever!!! / Then I hand coloured with pastels!! / If you hadn’t guessed yet, they are cups and saucers :)

I know when I go home during the holidays or just to visit, I use to go right to my room. It was just as I left it. So comfortable. A place where you knew to be safe and could just stay and dream all day. Yeah, that lasts for as long as when you hear that familiar, skreetch of someone voice that you recall from those supposed good old days or something else that knocks you back into reality to resume your adult life. After all who wishes to go back to a time where there was a curfew, no car, someone telling you what to do, when to do it, and how?
