A brother & younger sister got chased by a tiger at night, and they climbed up a big tree. When the tiger found the way to get up there, the children prayed to god to rescue them from the danger. God responded to the prayer and let down a rope, and the children were pulled up to the sky. After seeing this, the tiger also prayed to god for a rope, and a rope came down. But, alas, it was a rotten one! The tiger, therefore, fell in the middle of the air and landed on a millet field. The brother went up into the sky and became the moon, and the sister, who was shy and was afraid to be alone at night, became the sun. (There are actually more to say about the story, but I only described the things which are related to the image!) ...am still feeling mystical& enchanted today …..sweet Sally Omar .. wrote this wonderful poem for this painting…MOONRIVER by Sally Omar.. / i come to the river’s edge / the moon is aglow / watching it cast highlights / on the river below / bright shining streaks / on the water’s edge shimmer / my heart palpitates / at the beautiful glimmer / the sound of the ripples / is all that i hear / i feel so close to God / know He is near / the water flows / like a beautiful melody / i know now / He is standing close to me / i feel warmth / in the water’s touch / i love standing here / ever so much… / .....inspired by this song moonriver ...a first digital experimental creation .. my painted Cork tree geometrically circled/coloured it then Redfield fractaliussed it lol! then layered /cloned/+ blended it onto a gradient colour background/layered on the moon I created in lunar cell added graphics/flooded the next layer about 5 layers? mebbe 6 lol! ...Water in a Changing World…Water will be one of the major environmental issues of the 21st century. ..if you look closer you will see his face lol!... The Man in the Moon is an imaginary figure resembling a human face, head or body, that observers from some cultural backgrounds typically perceive in the bright disc of the full moon. The figure is composed of the dark areas (the lunar maria, or “seas”) and lighter highlands of the lunar surface….Moonshadow .am feeling very close to the Moon lately it must be on the wax or wane or something lol! definately close!.....a first experimental digital creation inspired by The song by Cat’Moonshadow- layered a lunar cell onto a starry sky/lensflare/aetherized/cloned/painted the man on the moon/softened/blurred in etc; .NRDC ..Asthma and Air Pollution..Bad air can bring on asthma attacks, even in healthy people; controlling pollution from cars, factories and power plants can help….featured in ‘Art by Bubble Hosts’.....
