  • “The LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me- A prayer to the God of my life.” Psalm 42:8 Mark Lawrence, Psalm 42:8 Painting with Light, VerseVisions, 2007. Digital mixed media on canvas, 36×36 inches. Copyright © 2007 by Mark Lawrence. All Rights Reserved. Painting With Light / This painting has been rendered with a unique Painting with Light technique that “paints” the picture using the selected Bible verse text as the paintbrush. You are seeing the verse above painted imperceptibly millions of times repeatedly across the canvas! The final result is a picture that perhaps God first used to catch your eye, and then used to touch and encourage your heart.

  • “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28 As God’s children we are to grow more and more like Jesus as we mature. God loves us way too much to allow us remain as we were before we found salvation through Jesus Christ. As we grow we learn that only God is able to fully handle our problems here in this world. He doesn’t even have it in mind for us to handle them on our own. The popular phrase, “God only helps those who help themselves” is nowhere to be found in God’s Bible. As we endure the trials and persecutions of life we can look inward for the strength and courage to prevail, or we can look upward in humility to our Heavenly Father who longs to protect His hurting children. When we draw closer to Him through prayerfully meditating on His Word we begin to discover that God alone is the Believer’s refuge and strength, and an ever-present help in our times of trouble. Our heavenly Father has promised to never leave us alone in this world. Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead as our Savior and Lord and daily talks to God on our behalf. We can rest assured that He is fully in control of all things, and nothing happens to us that He has not permitted. Nothing can or will take us from His hand. He knows our past, He sees our present circumstances and He knows the outcome. Are you in a hopeless place feeling alone and abandoned? Focus on the Truth of God’s Word and draw near to God through Jesus Christ and “know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”. Did this picture catch your eye; it might be more than just the colors! This painting has been rendered with a special Painting with Light technique that “paints” the picture using the Bible verse text as the paintbrush. You are seeing the verse above painted millions of times repeatedly across the canvas! The final result is a picture that perhaps God first used to catch your eye, and then used to touch and encourage your heart. In Isaiah 55:11, God says that wherever He sends His word it never returns empty, but always achieves the special purpose for which it was sent. I pray that God has supernaturally reached and forever blessed you through His word today. Mark Lawrence, Romans 8:28 VerseVisions®, 2007. Digital mixed media on canvas, 36×36 inches. • “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2 Those who have made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior find great comfort in this promise. As we scramble in our daily routines of our lives here on the earth, we have confidence and assurance that our heavenly Father is preparing our eternal home. Rather than a mansion I’ll be content just with a place to rest my head when I reach heaven. I am so grateful for how Jesus has provided for me here on earth that it is hard to imagine that He is also building a home for me in His Kingdom. How great a God we have, who loves us so much and cares for us so tenderly! Thank you Lord Jesus for loving the unlovable and for forgiving the unworthy; of whom I am chief. • “Then the LORD said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not.” Exodus 16:4 Original and inspiring large fine-art prints and canvases by abstract, contemporary Christian artist Mark Lawrence of Alpharetta, Georgia.
