Shot this at one of my most favourite places – Tucson, Arizona…. the barren landscape just speaks volumes to me and the discarded fighter jet engines prove the perfect antithesis to the landscape.
We’re all looking for a sign (every now and then), this is where I want to be – in a pure minimal landscape… oh, and that also sells Italian food!
so many things going on with this one – a title escapes me Featured in Symbolism in Art Featured on the RedBubble Main Page on June 24, 2008
This is a dawn photo I took the other day (yes..the ‘sticks” are back!!) and having fun adding the flood filter again…
Unfortunately the skies here in the desert are mostly hazy and full of sand and dust! There are not too many days when there are clear horizons with clouds, and to be able to catch a sunrise like this was just excellent! Located in Libya towards the Algerian border. / /
Dawn at Jan Juc Beach, on the Great Ocean Road.
An incredible stormy sunset sky over the desert in early summer (2005). Kata Tjuta is silhouetted against the setting sun in the distance. Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), Central Australia, 2005. [Creative Effects: NONE]
This is an acrylic painting 11” x 14” on cold pressed watercolour paper of Ayres Rock from a distance. Uluru, (Ayres Rock) stands proud in the middle of the Australian Desert with its brilliant red earth. The rock dates back 500 million years. The Australian landscape is such an inspiration. The natural Desert Red sand against the striking Blue sky is amazing Alone in the desert it stands proud and tall / Even from a distance you can hear its call. / Ruler of the sands, ruler of the skies / a sight to behold one of a kind. / ! / FEATURED IN: AUSSIE BUSH PAINTINGS / OUTBACK AUSTRALIA / CREATIVE CARDS

Constant down pours for more than a week have produced some amazing sights around Uluru. Usually bone dry sand and dust is transformed into a tropical garden if only for a short time. pencil on paper (Stonehenge) drawing – 22×22” – ORIGINAL SOLD / Signed and numbered limited-edition prints in two sizes are available at cynthia’s store There are so many stories to tell about this piece – wild coincidences, terrible tragedy and ultimate redemption. / I still don’t know if I can tell them all here now, but if there is one take-away to be had, it’s of the power of vulnerability and trust in oneself in the face of daunting odds… / I’ve included a not so great shot of me with the original. I had it framed so it was floating on suede. Here it is after receiving a Best of Show honor along with “Ennead”. detailed version of Event at RedBubble Please check out the numerous T’s with this drawing featured in my clothing section. /
