  • The second half of my dyptych, ‘Making tracks’. This lays in front of the other painting and that’s a ceramic ball I painted and shlacked sitting at the end of the trail. / The ball represents a language. its made up of markings that communicate that language by leaving them like a trail as it evolves. sometimes crossing over the trails of another language and picking up some of those elements. Like French words used in the English language or vise versa. / The Inscriptions Series: / - / The whole dyptich:

  • This is my first attempt at surrealism…not all together sure that it works…but I sure had some fun trying. I started out with an ink wash that I had done, and selected different parts of it, then played with layers and opacity . I then added the sky from an image I had….the 4WD and birds.

  • This was taken in Moab, one of many hikes on Arches National Park & it really caught my attention. First off being from Canada, I had never seen a high desert area such as this and was amazed to see how well nature had adapted to it`s conditions. Everything had a purpose and it was truly impressive to see Mother Nature is one of it`s great forms. / Anyhow, the tree truly caught my attention, by it shapes, the location and simply for being as big as he was compared to all the others. / Cheers

  • This used to be the bed of a lake that was formed by the Emerald Dam and the Avalanche Dam in the Nilgiris, India. After 2 years of no rain, vast areas of the reservoir have dried up, leaving only small trickling streams of water where there once was a lake. This year, the rains are expected on time.
