  • Your dark secrets always seem to make me want more. So I find myself lost in this place with no lights, fallowed by strange sounds. Yet this is comforting.

  • My Website Descending The Shadowed Passage To Nocturnal Realms – Draconis On the blackest eve of winter nights the shadows call my name / A dark path of possession descends to nocturnal realms Departing from the sleeping world awake in a fantasy / Silent is the place in which I dwell / Where there is no place for life Thrones of darkness guide my path / From far above I descend to nocturnal realms

  • Wicked creepy photo from deep inside the dark, abandoned army bunkers at Ft. Wetherill in Jamestown, RI. These bunkers were built to defend the United States against a possible Nazi invasion during World War II. Today it may seem to be a far-fetched idea, but a German U-Boat did sink a few ships off the Rhode Island shore and America had to prepare for all possiblities. (The Alaska Highway was built to defend the North from Japan at the same time.) The bunkers are dark, and littered with candles and occult paraphernalia. We went in armed only with our flashlights and our cameras. It was the day after Halloween, so we half-expected to find revelers sleeping off the previous night’s partying. Alas, only our imaginations spooked us as much as the graffiti and candles. Created using a Holga 120CFN with Fuji 800 ISO film in complete darkness with the white flash. No digital manipulation.

  • Taken with a Canon 50D, Sigma 10-20 lens at 10mm, F11, shutter speed 1/30 second, ISO200, tweaked in Photoshop I have been away for a few days in the Lake Ditsrict; our friends got married near Ullswater so we decided to have a mini break whilst we were there. This shot was taken a couple of weeks ago it is the descent down swirral edge from Helvellyn, it is steep and the path/pebbles are very slippy…my knees are still cursing me!! The peak in the distance at the edge of the ridge is Catstye Cam. I look forward to catching up with your shots over the next few days. Please view large!!

  • falling out of time and space…

  • After all the excitement of the Avon Descent last weekend we took ourselves off to Bells Rapids once again. It is just north of Midland, Western Australia and about 25 kms (maybe a little more) north east of Perth. This is the Swan River that eventually widens out to flow majestically through the City of Perth and ultimately out into the Indian Ocean at Fremantle / Camera Sony Alpha 350 dslr / 18-70 lens with nd filter / f5.6 @ 1/60 sec / Hand held

  • Made in UltraFractal 5. I rendered this as a .psd file so I could use layer styles in Photoshop CS to give it some depth. I also used the Flaming Pear Flood filter for the water because it looks better than the effect that UF has.

  • It is that time of year again when the earth turns cold and dark as Persephone returns to the Underworld for six months. I realize that many of you live in a different part of the world, but in my hemisphere (USA) we are entering our fall/winter season. The Underworld here does NOT refer to Australia. That’s Down Under!

  • North Conway, New Hampshire / Cathedral Ledge / Nikon D40, Nikkor VR 55-500mm lens / October 2009 “Rock climbing is a sport n which participants climb up or across natural rock formations or man-made rock walls. The goal is to reach the summit of a formation or the endpoint of a pre-defined route. Rock climbing is a physically and mentally demanding sport, one that often tests a climber’s strength, endurance, agility, and balance along with his or her mental control. It can be a dangerous sport and knowledge of proper climbing techniques and usage of specialized equipment is crucial for the safe completion of routes.” / ~ Wikipedia
