Un pequeño divertimento. /
Like all of the work I put on Redbubble. This piece took a long time to finish. I always take my time with important illustrations, especially if I want people to purchase them. The mountains alone took well over 4 hours to complete. I changed them many many times. They could’ve been an illustration by themselves cuz there’s so much detail in them. The idea behind this piece is loosely based on the fact that I never want to give up on my passions in life. Don’t let the fear of failure stop you from pursuing your life’s goals. You don’t want to look back and have regrets. They will haunt you forever….those things you told yourself you always wanted to do will become your ghosts. You cannot run away from your passion/s in life. Further more this illustration is a reminder to me. A personal mission statement built into an illustration. It is me in the illustration…something I never want to become. Drawn on A3 Copy Paper, Colored in Photoshop CS3 with Wacom Detail: /
The complete and real title is : “Poupée – InnerSelf”. I asked to myself : Stars… They bright the sky, our eyes, our mind & soul. They are inside of us. We always look for them, for these glimpses of lights and happiness. / Do we really know ourselves? / Do we realize that we have all of this inside of us? / What are we in fact? / As we don’t really look in the correct place, we don’t really know ourselves i decided to ‘almost’ delete the face. Because one day He will also left us. You know why? / Because, we the human beings became inhuman… / We lost our values, our soul, we forgot our heart(s)... / We are now violent, intolerant… Ignoring those who need us. We lost humanity. We lost ourselves. / The angel is dying, slowly but surely. / We killed Him. / Our nature has changed… My gallery is Copyright © Wandering Soul. Another collaboration with the fabulous photographer, Paul Louis Villani. His original photo is called Houses of the Holy
after goya’s sleep of reason, i did a personal version.
At the base of Navajo Falls, spirits like this come and go with the ever changing additions of minerals in the water and the destruction of the random floods. Moss and ferns become their robes. This one looked me in the eye.
After years and years of having strange people insert hands into their hind quarters, up through their guts, and into their heads in order to mockingly animate their lifeless corpses with comical movements and embarrassingly lame voices, the puppets have revolted. Infused with demonic strength, an insatiable thirst for flesh, and fueled by the need for revenge, their one and only goal is to see us all dead and they will not stop until the job is done. You can run, but they’re faster. You can hide, but they’ll find you. You can call the police, but oops…the police are already dead. Their flimsy plush arms are extensions of the devil himself and there is no escape.
Piece 2 of Once Human series / Thanks for viewing.
The Foreboding was created from 5 different images using Adobe Photoshop. A lot of burning and dodging was done for the shadows and highlights.. Thanks for looking.. . / .
GUESS WHAT? I updated my “samurai’s dream” design, i now call it “inner demons” because i added that cute demon in the front and, also, the creatures are a metaphor. everyone of us has his-hers dark side. so does my samurai here:) enjoy!
“love you too, death…” designed by indie artist Eric Murphy of sadmachine.com Copyright 2006-2007.
I originally did this in Electro Clash London 2012 Olympics colours but ended up hating it and making it all Ashley Wood-esque instead.
Isn’t he just the cutest occult demon you’ve ever seen? Don’t you want to squeeze his cheeks and invoke him into your home? *Please note that site image compression lessens the preview quality a bit and mutes colors. Please view full for a better look at the design. There’s also a smaller version of this design as well. Copyright 2009 I Heart Chaos
