Tree Fern Frond found along Delley’s Dell in the Grampains. Delleys Dell is another Wonderland walk through canopies of tree ferns which starts at the Rosea picnic area. This beautiful area was badly burnt in Grampians bushfires of 2005 and 2006 and has recovered slowly. The track beside Dairy Creek is well shaded by a canopy of treeferns with mosses and epiphytes on the trunks. There are a good number of birds including many parrots, fly catchers and white cockatoos. Here is one of the few places in the Grampians National Park where there is a wet sclerophyll forest. It is a great place on a hot day and even more beautiful, moist, fresh and fragrant just after rain.

I have decided to choose flowers for this featured piece, but not any old flowers, orchids & cherry blossoms. I am a huge fan of Japanese artwork/tattoos and nothing says “femininity” like a flower. Orchids symbolize: love, beauty, refinement, beautiful lady, Chinese symbol for many children, thoughtful, maturity, and charm, while a blossom symbolizes: power, feminine beauty/sexuality and love.
