Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery “AFTERNOON DELIGHT” was one of the finalists chosen in the March ‘08 TREES Group Competition. The afternoon sun was at just the right angle – These trees were perfectly framed in the afternoon sunlight. Western Australia Outback.
I was hard at work the other day when some friends dropped over with a box of chocolates. They chatted with my wife while I diligently focused on my “day job”, secretly wishing I could take even a few minutes out to scoff some delectable choccies – but knowing it would be rude to simply appear, eat and run. As our friends were leaving and saying their goodbyes one of them passed me the box of chocolates and at first I thought it was a joke, giving me an empty box as a reminder of what I had missed. But sitting in that plain cardboard box all on it’s lonesome was this cute little white chocolate dollop sprinkled with red hearts. At first I couldn’t bring myself to eat such a cute creation – so I sat the little delight on a fitness ball I had nearby and fired off a couple of shots. Once I was sure I had captured the little wonder for posterity I greedily sunk my teeth into that white chocolate casing, feeling the crack of it beneath my lips and the satisfyingly gooey center that cascaded into my mouth.

Time for another expression for my love of rain! The background is a 22in x 28in acrylic painting with slight alterations, mainly colour and blurring. The original contains 4 pink flowers, but they didn’t cut it so I photoshopped them out. The light effect is a result of the camera flash. The rain, child, and porch railing are photoshop.

I uploaded this sometime ago in color but I wanted to see what it would look like in b&w and then I added a warming filter turned up quite a bit because I like how it made the light look.

It’s not a long time I have infra red filter. But I always wondered how reddish infra red images can result in to lovely blue images. Its my first effort in PS to get this effect. But I didn’t followed any tutorial, just on my own effort. But it has helped me to learn new PS technique :) This photograph was taken today ( 18.10.2009 ) morning on my way to factory.
