This photo was taken years ago when I was shooting with slide film. It was taken on a field trip/photo class with Bryan Peterson. I used a Konica SLR.
...These most recent pieces (my best work yet) reflect how I choose to view myself, life and everything it ‘that is’...!! I would describe life in the same way I do myself…. a mess… but a BEAUTIFUL one!!! ...These latest pieces would not have been brought to life without the inspiration of my BEST friend. She not only inspired this latest work but the title for this piece too! =)
A cosmo with shallow depth of field in mono (2 tone) I have this on canvas its beautiful!!
Here’s is a macro shot of a bougainvillea flower which grows in my back yard. I actually had a few which I took and liked but narrowed it down to this one so I hope I made the right choice! Anyway.. Enjoy :o)

I have been struggling to produce an image which pleases me for several months and with the arrival of the Painted Lady, I really thought it would be possible fairly quickly. How wrong I was, which is why my current visible images are all old and most of the others have gone to cyberspace. / This old and delicate beauty was soaking up the morning sun on pebbles in my York garden today. It isn’t quite what I want, a serious think is underway, contemplating my future photographic direction, (if any!) but it IS one I like. / I had wanted to concentrate on the golden eye and the light face with a touch of the prettily patterned underwing. It would have been better had the proboscis been visible, but I’m thankful for this much after my recent poor performance. / 230809 / Sony H9 crop pf g-2c+ / 230809 This sky where we live / Is no place to lose your wings. / So love, love, love. / Hafiz حافظ Human beings are members of a whole, / In creation of one essence and soul. / If one member is afflicted with pain, / Other members uneasy will remain. / If you have no sympathy for human pain, / The name of human you cannot retain. / Saadi “Of one Essence is the human race, / thus has Creation put the base; / One Limb impacted is sufficient / For all Others to feel the Mace ” / —Saadi (1184–1283) “There is only one sacred manuscript, the sacred manuscript of Nature, which alone can enlighten the reader.” Hazrat Inayat Khan All profits from my sales will be donated to Butterfly Conservation.
