I wish I could come up with a better name for her… scratch that, I wish I could come up with ANY name for her actually. Oh well… maybe it’s better that way. Anyway, it was more so tedious than time-consuming but I’m satisfied with the result. I’ll probably experiment with different color schemes at a later point. It really looks like it has alot of potential in that department. Comments would be appreciated! Toodloo

The symbolism of this image is deep. Man against nature, his arrogance even when dwarfed by the age and strength of nature. / This was taken in Arches National Park at Delicate Arch in the Fall of 2005. There are many photographs of Delicate Arch and I didn’t want to duplicate what had already been done. With a man dressed in a black suit, he appears in a unique vision of the famed Delicate Arch stepping out from another time and place.

And Mary said: / “ My soul magnifies the Lord, / And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. / For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; / For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. / For He who is mighty has done great things for me, / And holy is His name. / And His mercy is on those who fear Him / From generation to generation. / He has shown strength with His arm; / He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. / He has put down the mighty from their thrones, / And exalted the lowly. / He has filled the hungry with good things, / And the rich He has sent away empty. / He has helped His servant Israel, / In remembrance of His mercy, / As He spoke to our fathers, / To Abraham and to his seed forever.” / ~Luke 1:46-55 Photomanipulation created in Photoshop CS2.
