  • Do not view this image if you believe there are some areas that should not be joked about – disability being one of them. That being said, let me give you the idea behind this potentially offensive design. I was at the beach the other day and I see this kid with a hang 10 shirt on – one of those old Hawaiian things you used to see around. And it’s got this image of these two footprints, with these cutesy toes. So I think to myself – that’s fine for people with nice feet, but what about the rest of us. What about people with deformed feet? The concept is about TENACITY and HONESTY. Imagine if you have all these people with physical deformities who want to have fun like everyone else – so they form a surf club. They don’t have enough toes to hang ten, and they aren’t even co-ordinated enough to stay on their boards most of the time (hence the pic of the guy wiping out). But who cares? They’re there to have fun, and they don’t give a damn about what people think of them. If you have ever tried to make a ilving doing something you’re passionate about – I think you can relate. Part 1

  • Part 2 The basic text element from the original ‘Hang Four’ shirt. Simple, but effective (I think!)

  • I did this thousands of time – with you / by my side.

When entering the field of battle, it is usually accompanied by swarms of its parasitic minions, The Stain. /
