“Rainbow thoughts,” are our love-gifts we give in this mortal life to eachother. An offering, a gift, we give freely to The Cretor…The Love!
Problem Child. / Track n# 4 from album: Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. Third studio album by Australian band AC/DC, released in September 1976. All songs were written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young, and Bon Scott. It was originally released on Albert Productions. A modified international edition was released on Atlantic Records in 1976. On the Live At Donington DVD, Angus and Malcolm Young explain that the concept of this album was to make it a Humphrey Bogart-esque mystery scenario. The term “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” is an homage to the cartoon Beany and Cecil, which Angus Young watched when he was a child. One of the cartoon’s characters was named Dishonest John, and carried a business card that read, “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. Holidays, Sundays and Special Rates.”
This is one of a number of old sheds on a farm near where I live. The unique feature of this farm is that it is one of the older farms in America. The original deed was signed by one of the Penn brothers, the sons of William Penn founder of Pennsylvania.
2B pencil drawing. The Vampire puts on his prisoner’s clothes & climbs down the wall. He is going into town dressed as the prisoner so the townspeople will think its the prisoner & will kill the prisoner when dead bodies start showing up. The last time i worked on this project was 1998. i started it in 1991. This one here is brand new, took me 2 days to complete, 11 February to 12 February 2008
What happened to the owner of the goggles, gas mask, and gun?
Not the breed! This is my next door neighbors dog who is part pit bull and is the sweetest dog ever, and the most spoiled! She isn’t in a cage or anything, this is just a pic through the fence and she just happened to have that sad look on her face. I’m a huge animal lover and I don’t believe that pit bulls are born cruel, they are trained by humans that make them the way they are. Don’t forget, if you want a pet, don’t go to pet shops, go to animal shelters, pets in shelters need homes too!!! / Sad Reality – Only 1 in 600 Pit Bulls will find a home – For every Pit Bull placed in a loving home, 599 DIE! /
An abandoned homestead cabin stands in dereliction adjacent a field as a cold fog rolls into the central mountains of Colorado. Homesteads were as large as 160 acres back in the 1800s and could be purchased through the government for as little as $16 dollars. The purchaser only had to show improvement to their property by growing food, raising livestock and fencing a section of it within five years of receiving the deed. Blackhawk, Colorado September 2008

I’m not entirely happy with the way this one turned out; it may not be up for long. Inspired by AC/DC’s “Dirty Deeds, Done Dirt Cheap”, and a septic truck seen driving down the road while listening to it. :) / As far as I can tell, the phone number listed is the one stated in the song.
My dear brother Kumar was recently approached by Robert Matthews of the Freedom in Words group to come up with a series (under the eyes of the group) on how to become an artist… Kumar and I have discussed our “R”evolution (as in the dance of life) being a process of change in a particular direction, perception or thought pattern. / We agreed I would kick off the idea with this piece of artwork representing ‘United Thought’: as we join, combine and corporate to form a single “WHOLE”, we connect closer to the Universal energy of totality. The known objects and phenomena that all existing things, including the Earth and it’s creatures, the heavenly bodies, and everything throughout space – is affected by us, involves us all, and concerns us to act for the good of all – we would experience a new sense of power. Not in the capacity to possess control or command over others, but ascend to being effective in force. / “WE” as united spirits have the power and ability to produce valid results, in effect, begin to function as the humans we were intended to be – HUMANE! Humane is characterized as being tender, compassionate, merciful, kind, gentle, charitable, creative and sympathetic. / In my own artistic pursuits, I consider the creative force my dharma (sanskrit word meaning one’s righteous duty or virtuous path) which literally translates to ‘that which upholds or supports’, my own path to achieving UNITY in thought, action and deed. This artwork was created on a blank white canvas in photoshop with my Wacom Graphic pad/pen, edited/colored in photoshop and Redfield fractilius plug-in specifically for this endeavor. You are what your deep driving desire is / As your desire is, so is your will / As your will is, so is your deed / As your deed is, so is your destiny. Brihadaranyaka Upanishad IV 4.5 A photograph of my lil’ laughing buddha edited in photoshop7 with Redfield plug-in fractilius, text is one of my favorite ‘mantra’ writings that I read to myself several times a day… KITARO Inspired by the light and love shared with so many beautiful people on this site as I celebrate my first year here ;) Namaste’ The Laughing Buddha (also known as Hotei in Japan or Pu-Tai in China) is thought to be based on an actual wandering Chinese monk who lived at the time of the Liang Dynasty (907-923 AD). He is incorporated in Buddhist, Taoist and Shinto traditions. He is most often depicted with a large round tummy, laughing or smiling. He also sometimes carries a cloth sack which never empties. In this bag are sweets for children, food, precious items, rice plants etc. He is like a patron for the weak, poor and children and as well as giving it seems he takes away our woes and sadness. He symbolises good luck, contentment and abundance. He also sometimes carries a wishing fan, granting peoples wishes. / In Feng Shui he is a symbol of wealth. He can be placed anywhere in your home, work or temple! (or probably more realistically on your altar). / He is not the same as Gautama Buddha, the main Buddha associated with founding Buddhism. But there does appear to be a link as some strings of Buddhism do regard the Laughing Buddha as an earlier incarnation of the Maitreya Buddha (or future Buddha) who is predicted to succeed the Guatama Buddha, and this is partly because of the words attributed to him before his death: / “Maitreya, the true Maitreya has billions of incarnations. / Often he is shown to people at the time; other times they do not recognize him.” / It seems a more recent addition, the idea that you can rub the Buddha’s belly to bring luck and wealth. This practice is not a part of Buddhist doctrine as such but more something that has evolved over time. Rubbing his belly or not, having this symbol around helps remind us that a prosperous, loving, giving life is possible on earth. So often we are convinced that we cannot have a plentiful and abundant life and live in balance. Well, the Laughing Buddha actually says you can!

Courtesy Wikipedia here Karma (Sanskrit: कर्म kárma (help·info), kárman- “act, action, performance”; Pali: kamma) is the concept of “action” or “deed” in Indian religions understood as that which causes the entire cycle of cause and effect (i.e., the cycle called saṃsāra) originating in ancient India and treated in Hindu, Jain, Sikh and Buddhist philosophies. In these systems, the effects of all deeds are viewed as actively shaping past, present, and future experiences. The results or ‘fruits’ of actions are called karma-phala. Courtesy wikipedia here Dogma is the established belief or doctrine held by a religion, ideology or any kind of organization: it is authoritative and not to be disputed, doubted or diverged from. The term derives from Greek δόγμα “that which seems to one, opinion or belief” and that from δοκέω (dokeo), “to think, to suppose, to imagine”. The plural is either dogmas or dogmata , from Greek δόγματα. At the core of the dogma concept is absolutism, infallibility, irrefutability, unquestioned acceptance (among adherents) and anti-skepticism. These concepts typically invoke criticism from moderate and modulated conceptual approaches, and thus “dogma” is often colloquially used to indicate a doctrine which has the problem of claiming absolute truth, when other concepts may be superior.
