part of the vibration series. ( see pulse in works not for sale) Originally inspired by the Brahma Kumaris ‘point of light’, it is a progression from there, after doing a 10 day silence retreat. The aim was to feel every cell and vibration in your body. By becoming more connected to your own physical body, and really knowing yourself in the process( where ever you ‘block’ your feelings, you become numb) you are more relaxed. calm and connected with the world. The result is a better life for yourself, and the the people you share the world with.

Actually it’s a view up the atrium of the Galleries Lafayette* (previously incorrectly referred to as ‘Printemps’) department store in Paris, France. They’re remarkably indulgent about tourists taking photos from the balconies on each floor (and in my case, although not for this shot, from the floor of the cosmetics department looking upwards). *The view from the roof is pretty spectacular, too, by the way – and it’s free!

Arrested Expansion is a symbolic scene that depicts a combination of self-excluding objects that might not be present in real life. Objects in the secluded room make the viewer feel claustrophobic and unreal, which might be compared to someone’s mental delusion based on a medical condition. Image is a mixture of photo stock with some 2D vectors, and 3D objects. Photoshop, 3ds max, Illustrator. / The most common cause of cardiac arrest is a heart rhythm disorder or arrhythmia called ventricular fibrillation (VF). The heart has a built-in electrical system. When a contraction happens, blood is pumped. But in ventricular fibrillation, the electrical signals that control the pumping of the heart suddenly become rapid and chaotic. As a result, the lower chambers of the heart, the ventricles, begin to quiver (fibrillate) instead of contract, and they can no longer pump blood from the heart to the rest of the body. If blood cannot flow to the brain, it becomes starved of oxygen, and the person loses consciousness in seconds. While we were roadtripping through New England one of our first stops was in Essex, Connecticut. The season was fall and our intention was to take in the wonders of nature, enjoy the fall foilage. In Essex we bought tickets for the Essex Steam Train and Riverboat. When we got to the ticket counter it turned out that the train had been reserved for a private party and not open to the public on that day but since it was just the two of us ( my husband and I) they said they would give us a private car. If you still haven’t figured it out well the private car looked like what you see above. It had this antique feel about it, reminded me of a time when these trains were the means of tranportation, nothing like the trains we have today. And then every once in a while the steam train would let out a tut. It was enchanting. The blue of the chairs so cool, so lush, the sun streaming in. A perfect stop on what turned into a perfect trip. / Sitting the old Fashioned Way
From drizzle to drowning. From dawn to middle of the night dreams that wake me up with a “pow.” That’s it. The answer. Then in the morning the drift falls from a darkened hollow into swirls of vapor and across a seaweed forest. My pencil scrapes. My brush strokes. Awaken. Awake to dream again. A struggle to find an answer that is forgotten in the effort to do do do what I think I must must must and drive myself crazy trying to escape. To sleep on my feet in a daydream of forest palms towering over and pools of languid, blue, mirrors instead of piles of dirty laundry. Or maybe it is all really the same. / The answer laying in the soft white shift of a sheet from a drier in sunlight and waving at the light’s own laughter at the sun. / acrylic on fabric. about 4 ft x 7 ft not stretched. Captured this image aboard the Cruiseship “Valor”, during a 7 day Western Caribbean Cruise. Some of the ships’ interior was quite interesting and warranted a few photo sessions. This is a 15 second exposure of some empty barstools, shot from the floor with camera angled upwards. Image made with tripod mounted Nikon D300 and Nikkor 18-70mm lens. The image itself has been run through ReDynaMix for an HDR “feel”, then converted to B&W, then with several layers gradually punched through the layers to achieve the selective coloring on the barstools from the original color HDR image. / Please view in Large to see all of the detail ….

I have always been a fan of Escher – his sense of perspective and composition is just amazing. This design is based on his 1953 Lithograph called Relativity that depicts a paradoxical world in which the normal laws of gravity do not apply. I decided to put a twist on this, where the architectural structure is going through a ‘home improvement’ with the people giving it a once over with a coat of paint. Please note that the colour of the paint depends on the colour of shirt the design is placed on. The example below demonstrates what it would look like on a yellow shirt. More zomboy shirts here: /
