The Soulclipse “Total Solar Eclipse Experience” Festival Series / March 27 – April 2 2006, near Antalya, Turkey. / LIMITED RELEASE photos by Webgrrl/Ozdoof.com On the day of the opening ceremony of this festival, right on 5pm, the official opening ceremony time, where Sufi Dancers was to perform, a HUGE hail storm descended on us from out of nowhere! This freak (or not so freak considering its so very close to a Total Eclipse of the Sun alignment) storm brought down the Main Stage, totally, resulting in damage to ALL equipment (speakers, sound systems, scaffolding, decor that had been in the making for months, and the list goes on) After the storm i found and saw so many beautiful things (including a Rainbow!) and felt a message from Mother Nature, saying everything from now on will be Perfect, and it was….

This was taken Dec 31/08 when my friend and I took the dog for a walk and came upon these decorations on a tree in the neighbourhood (east end Toronto) - i thought the reflection was kind of cool - retouched and burnt in PS - fuji finepix / ISO 100 / Aperture f/5.5 / Exposure 1/300 sec

Sand reflections of clouds and nearby buildings and fences just after the water is receeding back to the ocean. /

These reeds were growing in the lake and with the movement of the water, presented these wavy reflections. Added some golden color as the original was rather dull. I loved the light and the wavy reflections made an interesting composition. / Canon D40.

This is a photograph of a multi-coloured mouth-blown glass orb, a spherical reflector garden ornament. I used a Gaussian blur on the background, spherized it and then smoothed the image, with light adjustments on Contrast.
