This is another of my favourites. I can’t remember the exact date I painted it… it was roughly January or February of 2006. I used acrylic on cardboard (but HOW I used it is a secret!), approximately 63cm x 51cm. Abstract digital mixed media / photographs and flame fractals / / 9.8 megapixels (3840×2560), 2009.02.14th / / This is part of a current graphic project where I hope to design an album cover for a friend’s ethnodrones soundscape music. More details soon. / Although no material I used is directly linked to Peru, and I didn’t know about Paracas culture before researching it from my friend’s track title (‘Paracas’), it seems his music, that I listened to while creating the picture, magically guided me towards this abstraction strangely reminiscent of Pre-Columbian geoglyphs. Hence the name I chose aftwerwards (translating as ‘From here to Paracas’). / / © 2009 by Nodakami / www.nodakami.com
