Gasometers are very much part of the cityscape wherever you go in Europe. The ones in Ladbroke Grove, London are often photographed by me because they so dominate the landscape. Many people consider them to be ugly and a blight on the skyline. I don’t. If you like this image, then why not have a look at this one of the same towers taken from another angle, with the gas tank filling up.
