I was extremely bored today and I wanted to do something creative so I found the bubbles and started blowing out in the backyard. It was a little windy today so it was a stupid idea but I couldn’t stop trying, I just wanted ONE ! bubble with some sort of reflection before it popped. It was a mess, dripping bubbles everywhere and dropping my camera around my wrist a hundred times and then POP…..too late ! but finally I got one I really liked ….it reminds me of a garden globe.

Impressionist, painterly / two boys doing what they do best in the rain. Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer, a digitizing tablet and stylus, and software. Digital painting differs from other forms of digital art, particularly computer-generated art, in that it does not involve the computer rendering from a model. The artist uses painting techniques to create the digital painting directly on the computer. / I create the painting, directly on my PC, by using a Wacom tablet, a stylus pen and ArtRage painting software. The Wacom tablet can be compared to a canvas or watercolor paper surface. The stylus pen is my paintbrush.

The sunlight through the petals and leaves looked lovely against the backdrop of the snow outside. Our short days make sunshine seem all the more precious, even indoors. I love rainy, overcast, windy days. Someone has to, I suppose. The pink/purple of the fireweed has yet to reach its full splendor. As Alaskan legend has it, when fireweed blooms all the way to the top of its spire – the six-week countdown to winter begins. Some of us can hardly wait. It felt great to get out in the elements!
