I love this photo. This photo was published in the Digital Photographer magazine! (Spring, 2009) It was also on display at Wassenburg Art Center in Van Wert, Ohio from October 5 – 31, 2008. This was taken in the early Spring. This is a pear blossom tree flower. Most know of Pakistan as a third world fanatical Muslim country full of terrorists. I have lived in Pakistan, my parents were born and raised there and though it has its many faults it also has its many beauties, its many treasures and many things that I love and cherish. At Work is a picture of my maid, Sakina in her small and modest home where I captured her hands as she used two rocks to grind herbs and spices to make that nights meal. This is a method still used in homes where a mechanical grinder is a luxury and not a necessity. According to Sakina and her mother, herbs ground on a rock maintain the rich flavors that are often lost by all our machines.

water droplets splashing, some of the droplets were shooting out at a different angle while others were dropping down and this was the result when they crashed. It’ll never happen again LOL. I might crop out the big droplet that’s falling…I can’t make up my mind :) recent retouch / /

It’s Easter today and my mom stopped over early to give these to me, I took a picture of them to make them last forever. Today is a beautiful sun shiny day, the sky is so blue with puffy white clouds. Well I better get busy and put the Ham in the oven….............Happy Easter !!!!!!

When I see cherry blossoms or (in this case) Japanese cherryblossoms, I always think of my childhood and youth.
