  • Few years ago, we were taking a jolly stroll along the beach, and my young brother decided to point out to us the “double decker seagull”...

  • 24×30 no. 2 in traffic series. Original SOLD

  • The Routemaster number 15 red London bus

  • Red Bus crossing the Vauxhall Bridge, London May 2008. Shot through Canon digital Lens.

  • Last of this season’s RockFace portraits. A very different approach, but a beautiful woman who hasn’t lost any of the looks she had when she was first performing in the late eighties. / The colour balance is difficult to achieve with a photograph, so the whites are too white and the reds too red, but you get the general idea. and yes … the petals are real flowers.

  • There is probably my favourite of the photos I applied the Cartoon Filter to. The filter seems to work best with street scenes and strong colours. It certainly has brighthened up some of the dullest photos from our visit in the cold early springtime.

  • Top desk of an old Routemaster red double-decker bus in London early one morning

  • A moment in Picadilly Circus, London

  • Bus Bus Bus, Bus Bus Bus Bus, Bus Bus, Bus Bus, Bus Bus, Bus Bus Bus Bus. To the tune of the Mario Theme ;) (Most bored title ever) :D

  • Dingo at Healesville Sanctuary, Victoria Australia / The Dingo (Canis lupus dingo) also known as Warrigal, Maliki, Mirigung, Decker Dog, Boololomo, Repeti, or Australian Native Dog, is a feral dog which mostly lives independently from humans. It is generally thought to originate from a population of domesticated dogs, possibly at a single occasion during the Austronesian expansion into Southeast Asia. Though commonly described as an Australian wild dog, it is not restricted to Australia, nor did it originate there and is in fact a feral domestic dog rather than a separate species. Modern dingoes are found throughout Southeast Asia, mostly in small pockets of remaining natural forest, and in mainland Australia, particularly in the north. They have features in common with both wolves and modern dogs, and are regarded as more or less unchanged descendants of an early ancestor of modern dogs. The name dingo comes from the language of the Eora Aboriginal people, who were the original inhabitants of the Sydney area. / Crossbreeding with pet and feral domestic dogs is currently thought to be the dingo’s greatest threat for survival. Up to 80% of the wild dogs along Australia’s eastern seaboard are thought to be dog-dingo crossbreeds. • Decker taking time to smell the flowers”’....... Dedicated to Tina

  • Decker Dog Split Hair Jack Russel / Crop of previous shot / Looking like the little bandit he is! LOL! / 11 years ago coming home from work, I rounded a corner on highway 16 to see some kind of critter running right toward me down the yellow line, and just had dodged two log trucks, and several cars (or I might say they were all trying to keep from hitting him :O) / At about that time I saw movement over in the ditch, and it was a Chayote in hot pursuit, that little thing running down the yellow line was hairless, and was even hard to tell exactly what it was. / It was obvious it was about to become the Chayote’s next meal. I pulled over, and tried to coax that unidentifyable thing into my car. It paused a moment, looked at the Chayote, and ran right on past me. / I had to move on as the traffic was just crazy, and I was about to get myself killed over something I wasn’t even for sure what it was. / My mind was whirling as I continued to drive along, at first I decided not to go back, but in the back of my mind I kept seeing that aweful scene. So I turned back to give that critter one more chance to get in my car for safty. / Heading back, I rounded a corner again to see it still running for its dear life down that yellow line, and I drove a good piece ahead of it, pulled over, opened my door, and begin patting my leg, and screaming, “come on boy, come on!!” / This time it took me up on my offer, and I guess decided I might be the lessor of the two evils. / The animal didn’t even slow down, ran right across my lap, and hit the door on the other side of my car. Knocking itself out, and fell to the floor board. / It lay there till I got home, and we just kept looking at one another. I finally could see it was a small dog…not on hair one its body. / This is Decker 11 years later, and it took me some time to nurse him back to health. He is the sweetest dog ever, and has brought much joy to my life, and some grief. LOL! He is fearless when it comes to other male dogs, he will jump on a Great Dane, and try his best to kill it, and yet living on the mountain, and in the forest he is deathly afraid of the dark. LOL! / He knows whats out there that can eat him!! / So, this is my Decker Dog, this is how Decker became a member in our family, and he is loved by everyone who meets him, and he loves everyone, and he lives to go riding in the car, and for hiking, and playing in the river. • ~ My Snow Covered Coat ~ Decker loves the river in the summer, and he loves the snow in the winter, and the more snow he can get all over him, the happier he is. / You can find him many times just rolling in the snow, making sounds of joy, and he is always looking for what he can get into next!

  • What a handsome fellow, even if I do have to say so myself!! /

  • Scanned slide. Jacks bus can be found along the Strzelecki Track between Merti Merti and Camerons Cnr. I’ve seen quite a few photo’s of this which must be more recent than mine as they don’t have any of the stuff coming off the sides or as many trees around it. The bus also has a lot more graffiti on it these days!

  • Thames View of Big Ben and Houses of Parliament and Westminster Bridge. Views like this are one of the reasons that made my move from Devon to the Capital less of a heartache. I do miss the wonderful rural landscapes of Devon, but a photographer / artist can find inspiration anywhere, if only he’ll open his eyes and heart. / I captured this scene whilst visiting St Thomas’ Hospital at Westminster Bridge. The light was bright so I took shelter under the trees and the view across the Thames to the Houses of Parliament was stunning from the shade. Westminster Bridge was also looking good and I’m surprised there was so much detail in the shadows under the arches. I like the orange reflections of the buildings on the water, and wonder what it would have looked like had I used some ND filtres???? I’ll have to try that one day. Camera. Nikon D700 with 24-120mm Lense. ISO200 1/125sec f/9.0.
