One of Sydney’s “Northern Beaches”. / Palm Beach is most commonly known to us “Poms” as Summer Bay. / Yep, that’s right, it’s the outdoor setting for Aussie soap “Home and Away”. / Take the L90 bus from Sydney to get there. ;) An hour and a half away but the views en route are beautiful, and that’s before you even arrive…..

This is actually how it came off the camera. Was playing with camera settings to familiarise myself a little better with effects created when using Manual Mode. Canon EOS 350D just to clear up any macro-related confusion….. this is actually those teensy flowers that are used to “fluff out” bouquets, so the actual size of one bud is only a few mm

Harbour Bridge Climbers on the way down…. Sydney, Australia, October 2007 / Canon IXUS 900TI Bridgeclimb Passionate as I am about all things Australia at the moment…. I thought I would share one of my favourite experiences…... / I managed to complete the climb myself, (despite a completely irrational fear of heights!), and would highly recommend the experience to EVERYONE! / Some will say “but the pylon lookout is much cheaper”.... yes, but the sense of achievement and 360 degree views of the beautiful city are well worth the extra dollars!!!
