  • Canon 20D – 17-40mm L – 21mm – f10 – 13s The Place de la Concorde is one of the major squares in Paris, France. It is located in the city’s eighth arrondissement, at the eastern end of the Champs-Élysées. The Place was designed by Ange-Jacques Gabriel in 1755 as a moat-skirted octagon between the Champs-Élysées to the west and the Tuileries Gardens to the east. Filled with statues and fountains, the area was named Place Louis XV to honor the then king.

  • The tower of the historic church at Saint Germain des Prés, though a fairly underrated on the tourist map, is a beautiful Parisian site and claims to its fame of being the oldest Parisian church. Top ten in Gothic challenge Colors of monochrome: Some of my other work: / / / © Kuntal Daftary

  • Cityscape was shot from the top of the “Arc de Triomphe” in Paris (France). Far away you can see “La Defense” district. When the shot was taken the avenue was strangely empty, all the cars seemed to be escaping the city. I think this photograph will be great on Laminated print, Mounted print or Canvas print. • A COLLABORATION WITH LINAJI / (Thank you very much for your excellent poem) Where Do You Love From…Really / Author: linaji Where Do You Love From? / Your pink painted toes? / Or the hollow of your sighs / As my tongue journeys unabashedly / Down the silk trails of your thighs Does my latent life scream Onlyness? / Echo Eons from the heart / Where do you / Love from / Live From / Darling / When do we ever start? History has changed much / Now that Eve did eat the snake, / She brought about apples only / For mother’s pie in Adam’s wake Where do you Love from / Really? / The marrow of your bones? / Is longing, loving and living here / A pirates chest of stones? What about your fingertips? / Dipping softly into my flesh, / Do I utter sighs with beggars eyes / Or do I let our two lips mesh? Do you feel from what is stillness / A time when lovers care, / Do you ooze the sweet-laced vapors? / That my focus on you dares, That moan / That cry / That primal stare / That leads me inside you / Elusive hips that ride your smile / And worlds outside the Que. / A passions mist that takes our lips / A fog beyond compare, / I lay here spent with one leg bent / And dream with you I dare.. Now,, Where do you Love from,,,, / Really. FROM PARIS SERIES: / UNE FEMME PENSIVE / GLAMOUR / / BELLE PARISIENNE / / CHARLESTON / / / BELLE DE JOUR / / / FEMME EN BLEU /

  • This image was taken about 10 days after severe thunderstorms in Paris at the end of 1999. There had been debris scattered all over the Champs de Mars, but once they’d cleaned everthing up, it looked almost too tidy. It was taken at approximately midday, and eerily, there was no one around.

  • The day after a huge winter storm lashed Belgium, fierce bitter Arctic winds worked their way into Paris. The top levels of the Eiffel Tower were closed due to the gale but these children, on a school excursion, were having the time of their lives. As the French would say… “chiens de soufflement des chaînes” — it was blowing dogs off chains.

  • Paris, Fr. Louvre – UNESCO World Heritage site Canon EOS 450 kit 35 Mètres de Côté has been featured in the Art of Glass group / 35 Mètres de Côté has been featured in Group Feminine Intent / Has been featured in ImageWriting (2/24) Group / “35 Mètres de Côté” was featured in UN!TY / Featured in Group Heritage Listed and Other Trusts Sites World Wide / Featured in Group Contrasting Perceptions / Featured in Group Style Class Elegance Il est régulièrement prétendu que le nombre de plaques en verre de la Pyramide se porte à exactement 666, le « Nombre de la bête », souvent associé à Satan. :))
