A couple of hours before sunrise coming into Daytona Beach, Florida.

Daytona beach pier, right before sunrise there was this fog that just seemed to descend around the pier. Just another spooky day in an awesome town.

As you walk onto the beach at Daytona, you will see tire tracks. This beach and town is in love with cars so much, that it’s okay at certain times to take your car and drive on the beach. But when you see the beach and how large it is, then everything comes into focus about this un-ecological idea just blocks away from Daytona 500 speedway.

Targa West 2006. The Daytona Coupe 5.7 litre Chev V8 in which Australian motor racing legend Peter Brock was to later die as a result of a sole vehicle crash. Co Driver Mick Hone survived.

You will see the world with a whole new set of eyes by observing the small details of a sunrise, and probably change the way you feel about the sunrise as well. It IS the first day of the rest of your life, so don’t waste it worring about things you cannot change. Instead, find a way to cope with the past.
