This is a Lillium flower ( Day lilly ), It was part of the bunch the Gerberas were in. I tried so hard to get a good macro shot of it’s patternings in the centre & of the stamens, but alas, not much luck was had!. This however turned out ok, i think. How about you?!.
Flowers of spring and summer brighten up this world. One can look out on them with wonder and delight. This is one from my garden that I liked a lot.
One of the many reasons I love growing Daylillies! / Deep inside this one looks like it its glowing! / Enjoy

It was like something out of a fairy tale, something out of a book, a photo I didn’t think I’d be so lucky to take. When we got through the tall grass suddenly the long, crisp blades of grass parted and there was this vast water of lillies!
Daylillies are often referred to as “the perfect perennial.” / These plants are perennial. The name Hemerocallis comes from the Greek words ἡμέρα (hēmera) “day” and καλός (kalos) “beautiful”. The flowers of most species open at sunrise and wither at sunset, possibly replaced by another one on the same stem the next day. Some species are night-blooming. / Taken on 7th Street, found in someone’s garden. / Used a Kodak Z650 EasyShare 10 X Zoom /
