Well at least it would be if I had my way, living in Glenmaggie and just spending the majority of my time photographing its beauty. But anyway, yes it was shot at Lake Glenmaggie, Victoria. Shot with a Nikon D200, 12-24mm lens at 15mm, F/11, 100 ISO. 4 shot HDR, merged/mapped in Photomatix, touched up in Photoshop. as with my other image when solitude is required… this image was taken near a house i used to live in… / this place way my favorite place to be alone i used to find myself wandering through the bush and way down at the bottom of the hill im the middle of victorian native bushland there stood an old pine tree that didnt quite fit… as it turned out this tree became quite known to me i used to find myself here often… / it was / “my place” / somewhere to be alone and just simply be…. featured in Sepia Only / top ten place in sepia-portraits challenge
