“Tiffany” is a teddy bear / I hand made myself. / Each bear I made was unique / despite being created from the / same pattern which I designed. Like traditional teddies, I made them / from mohair plush, with glass eyes, / suede paw pads and fully jointed. One teddy is living somewhere in / Italy, another went to a Teddy Bear / Museum in Japan. I kept a few for / my own collection but I no longer / make them. Hope you enjoy my bears and / bear photos.

Gray lop ear Valentines Day rabbit isolated on white background
It was a beautiful crisp cold day in County Mayo on Irelands west coast not to far from the bustling town of Westport when we stopped our mad dash tour out to Achill Island. Where I stood to take this shot there was a house beside me but the next one that I could see was this small bungalow in the distance with the kitchen fire obviously burning peat which was the smell that hung on the air ever so lightly.
I took this beautiful rose with my Macro lens that enhances the details of this floral and the enveloping petals. I feel like I would like to be enveloped in the soft and gentle folds of this beautiful Rose. The soft texture appears to be so comforting with sumptuous petals. The vibrant color of red is a great visual for Valentines day with the added bonus that I can share this striking image with all of you. Wishing all of you a wonderful Valentines Day. We usually celebrate the day with our / romantic dogs, Mikey and Molly. Mikey has already used his allowance for / a dozen red roses for his beloved Molly. She wants me to buy the champaigne and caviar. /
One of the many beauties of outside that I was able to capture while my kids were playing in the yard. I saw the butterflies and took the opportunity to snap a few pictures.

These crocuses are growing in the middle of our front lawn, where no crocuses have ever been planted. They started appearing about 3-4 years ago, a tiny patch of tender purple softness amidst the dry grass and unsightly dead weeds, leftover from the summer before. I used a large aperture, hoping that the shallow DOF would throw out of focus the dead grass, and create a nice blur in its place. I also made it very bright to create the joyful atmosphere of high key, so representative of the spring season. Focal length 52mm / ISO-100 / Aperture f/5,6 / Shutter 1/125 sec. Shot in aperture priority, while lying flat on my face in the grass / Nikon D60 / AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f3.5-5.6G VR Also available as a Mother’s Day greeting card in my other portfolio /

My neighbors Bleeding Heart plant screamed at me to be a few months ahead of the pack:)hehehe
I decided one day to put on my white satin gloves from my Wedding Day and take a few shots. This one is one of my most faved and most viewed from that set. Not a lot of editing but more about a soft portrait look.

lago piccolo di Avigliana Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you… while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. John Muir
i think this shot is very appealing… / it was a fluke to get the effects that i did in one go with little effort. there is almost no editing in this image at all, so pretty well straight up. fluky capture but sweet…. carnation.
