Hiking down Havasu Creek.
We spent 3 magical days backpacking at Havasu Falls, one of the most beautiful place on our planet.
A vine climbs through a hole in brick work as the afternoon sun adds to the adventure. Entered in Gaia – The Living Planet (More the living planet part.) Abstracts and Artsy Architecture Landscapes and Nature Street Tasmania

Trying something new, again! I just love the way this turned out! I was working with my extensions tubes (again!) and this Dogwood blossom was floating in a dish of water…It’s just so soft looking! I picked out these roses for my father to give my mother for Valentine’s Day. They’re such a deep red color and the petals are velvety…almost black. I love those type of roses. I used a really low white balance when I shot this to give it a more bluish tone. Enjoy!
These are the same roses from Valentine’s Day with the velvetly petals. I adjusted the white balance on my camera before shooting to give it a bluish tone. It looks like crushed eyeshadow to me…:D Shot with a sigma 105mm macro, indoors with flash. Enjoy!

A whimsical style drawing that I made while feeling a bit “unordinary.” I was told that it had a “Aboriginal” quality to it! I just know that I like it!
This is another small garden of mine with a tree stump for the core of it with a birdbath dish resting on top. What you see here is what I see without the effects outside my window where I sit daily on the computer.
A digital photo-manipulation of a photograph I took at the Kooragang Wetland Centre on Sunday. The images were captured using a 6 MP Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S500 and the processing was completed using Photoshop Elements 7. Their Communications / Publicity Officer, Sue, had sadly passed away about a year ago and they held a commemoration service to celebrate her life and her fantastic attitude to both people and the environment. It was a very nice, sunny day and everyone in attendance paid their respects to a wonderful person who will be missed. / Featured in – That One Great Shot group on Saturday 15/8/2009 Thanks to Jane and Allan for choosing my image to be featured ! :-)
Canon 350D / F/5.6 / 1/400seg / ISO-100 I was sitting day dreaming on my varanda and this most beautiful (and the biggest) butterfly that I had ever seen came to visit my Bougainvillea. When I realised I wasn’t still day dreaming (as I never get the honour of such beautiful visitors) I ran inside to get my camera half expecting she would have already gone! It was so hard as she kept fluttering around but I manage to get this shot. / This is very new to me as I have never been able to capture something as beautiful as this. 170 views at the time of entering the 100+ group Featured in Dimensions 14th November 2009 / Featured in Backyard Macros and Close ups 14th November 2009 / Featured in Portugal 15th November 2009
