Another not entirely right panorama from a camera my father made. Using these little cameras were a bit of a trick at times but the results were so various and mad that I love them. There are only five in this series. Below is a thumbnail of some Dad’s camera’s His camera always produced much better photo ’s technically than mine but I maintain that the mistakes I made with mine made for a more interesting image :)

the next upload in my holga madness series. This is the same little boat in the same little dam as the shot I posted yesterday…. this time however its very very early in the morning and the rosy blush of the dawn sky can be seen reflected in the glassy waters of this beautiful little billabong. The little boat just serenely floats at the end of its tether waiting for the day to being and for people to seek it out and use its physicality rather just admire its form from the bank.

Sanibel Island, on the southern Gulf shore of Florida, is a lovely place to vacation. It is considered a sheller’s paradise and is ranked number one of American beaches noted for seashells. It also has some glorious sunrises and sunsets; this was daybreak on the island in late July 2008.

To-day it was Catriona and my Wedding Anniversary so we decided to do what we love doing best and that was going for a long drive through the Mourne Mountains we spent the day going to all our favourite spots all bathed in glorious sunshine we went for dinner about 5 and then back into the mountains ,we ended up at Spelga dam and watched the sun go down from here and the view above was the last rays of the sun as it dissapeared behind the mountain ,My Anniversary Sunset a perfect end to a wonderfull day!!!

Some of you may recognise this. These images were shot the same day I got that image entitled “Fleeting Beauty” (which you can see buried deep somewhere deep in my redbubble gallery!). I knew I’d taken a series of images that morning from my bedroom window – it truly was an exceptionally beautiful sunrise scene, with the sea mist rolling in over Bray Head acting as a natural graduated filter. I just did a Search on my PC & found them all, RAW versions too! These RAW to jpeg conversions images have had minimal manipulation in Picasa 3. When I’ve got my head around PhotoShop a little more I’ll possibly revisit them…

aaaah.. just a good old day out in Lovers key . State park…....... we had so much fun…........ early morning. tweaked a bit for more extra drama…..... this was shot on our photoshoot of the mud girls from Southwest Florida… at least that is what i am calling us. the other girls dont know that is what I call us.. (sorry about the crappy static… “ilike” – the site that I host my songs on – doesn’t seem to like me…but, anywho…) So, you want to know how much manipulation goes into a Songmistress manipulation? A whole lot! This is a blending of this: / this: / and this: / Now you know why I love photoshop so much. And, now you know how much work goes into making me look….different. Those are the untouched photos above, and I was wearing no makeup…but, I used the opportunity to create a Christmas image that I wanted to…and, when working with children, you have to strike when the iron is hot, so to speak. Warrick went to sleep, and I couldn’t just drop him in order to make myself look beautiful and expect him to stay asleep…so, I’m really letting you in on the secret of my actual appearance that I have guarded all these months. Scary… but, yeah. And now you know what it takes…what it really takes to make me look like I do in my artwork – a lot of hard work! The texture is some of Jamie’s original texture and some of mine, as well, carefully put together in that miracle worker photoshop with a multitude of layers and filters.
