  This is Fontaneda’s description as to the wreck that left him stranded in Florida years pryor, and the reason he and the others were going to Florida. The River Jordan is the Spanish eguvalence of The Fountain of Youth. Carlos was the all powerfull Calusa chief at the time who captured and put to death all the survivors of this wreck, all but the young boy Fontenada. It was the famous Hernedo de Soto who found Fontaneda during his epic march through Florida in 1539. / This is an important clue that Dave and Whreck use to find the Spring of the Eternal Children.
