Spotted some horses in a field on the way to work yesterday, the sun was just coming through the mist, had to go turn round and go back to have a look and came away with a couple of nice shots. There was a thick frost on the ground, real crisp winter morning Thanks to Richard Shepherd for the title.

Surrealism. In the course of every day life one is always confronted with having to make a choice about something. For every choice one makes, one must be prepared to pay the consequence. Adam and Eve had a choice. You can always think what the consequence may be in the land of Bryce. / © Dave Moilanen 2007

I am dedicating this fractal to a great friend and wonderful photographer, Phil. We all know him here on the Bubble as Phil Thomson. Phil has the amazing ability to capture the “magic of the moment” in all his photos. This one is for you my friend! Visit Phil’s Gallery: Phil Thomson IPA / © Dave Moilanen 2008

Surrealism. As the light of day slowly dims, do you ever take a moment and enjoy watching as God paints another masterpiece using the setting sun, the sky and the clouds? If you missed your chance in reality, you can always find tales within the twilight skies in the land of Bryce. / / © Dave Moilanen 2008

”..... Tell this soul with sorrow laden if, within the distant Aidenn, / It shall clasp a sainted maiden whom the angels name Lenore - / Clasp a rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore.” / Quoth the Raven ‘Nevermore’. (Edgar Allan Poe).

This one of our local Churcches, taken on a damp dark day, sort of the right day for churches and grave yards. Almost desaturated it to darken the feel.

Another old one I just scanned from my display book. Since I joined Redbubble I have very little time to spare for doing new drawings, so I am using up my old ones that no-one has seen anyway – hope you don’t mind.

This art work was inspired by a wonderful friend and wonderful artist, Kym Breeze. Kym once asked if you could describe your life as a song what would it be. The song “Better Days” by the Goo Goo Dolls always comes to mind for me. Thank you for the inspiration Kym, and may we all find better days. :-) Visit Kym’s Gallery: Kym Breeze / ____________ Better Days Video ______________________ BETTER DAYS And you ask me what I want this year / And I try to make this kind and clear / Just a chance that maybe we’ll find better days / Cuz I don’t need boxes wrapped in strings / And desire and love and empty things / Just a chance that maybe we’ll find better days So take these words / And sing out loud / Cuz everyone is forgiven now / Cuz tonight’s the night the world begins again And it’s someplace simple where we can live / And something only you can give / And thats faith and trust and peace while we’re alive / And the one poor child who saved this world / And there’s 10 million more who probably could / If we all just stopped and said a prayer for them So take these words / And sing out loud / Cuz everyone is forgiven now / Cuz tonight’s the night the world begins again I wish everyone was loved tonight / And somehow stop this endless fight / Just a chance that maybe we’ll find better days So take these words / And sing out loud / Cuz everyone is forgiven now / Cuz tonight’s the night the world begins again / Cuz tonight’s the night the world begins again GOO GOO DOLLS / © Dave Moilanen 2008
