  • Me and my daughter Melanie in her teens, battling it out. Took the shot myself with the camera on self timer. Just told her to yell as loud as she could. It was scary how natural this came to her. Raising a daughter, especially through her teens, is about as emotionally draining as it gets. I knew support groups were available, but I opted for the mental scars… time will tell if that was the right path!!

  • Sadly, I cannot take all the credit for Flossy, because it’s a wonderful typeface designed by Buro Destruct in 1995.

  • New baby girl wrapped in a blanket of clouds.

  • Kombi for jesta Beep Beep!

  • Here’s another photo of my little muse. This wasn’t a posed one, just natural, the way I like it. I also have this photo in sepia which looks nice so choosing was a hard decision.

  • Took this a couple of weeks ago of my little girl at the beach and realised it’s potential this morning when I started to play with the colour, light and layers so of course I though that I would share!

  • Confused? Go to a mirror and mouth the words Elephant Shoes and watch what it looks like you are saying.. I LOVE YOU! This is the perfect shirt for all to wear on valentines day or anyday, especially if you need a little ego boost, because you can watch everyone as they read your shirt and feel like they are all telling you that they love you.. awww… This is also my: The Patchwork -Valentine’s Day Card Contest Entry will add link later.

  • sales of this design so far – 1 sale / / / I’ve gone a bit crazy with elephants lately, and after seeing little Luk Chai the baby elephant at Taronga Zoo, Sydney over the last couple of days, i just had to create yet another version, a little baby girl elephant this time, i hope you like her… in honour of ‘Luk Chai’... welcome to the world Little Prince… A pencil drawing coloured digitally :) This would make a nice welcome card for a new baby girl, nursery, children’s room, or a nice birthday gift and all occasion card or print for anyone who loves and collects elephants

  • / / A little bit of nostalgia running through this drawing, with the good old love beads, i always love wearing love beads, and I still have some which are orange and lime … and another strand of blue and white. You can wear them so many different ways. The image was drawn in pencil on cartridge paper in my A3 spiral bound art journal and after photographing I coloured her digitally on the computer. Before I took the photo I actually painted her ‘love beads’ with acrylics and inks…and i stuck a fimo flower on her beads, which i made for another application, and then painted it naples yellow with a white centre.

  • / A few years ago when my daughter Sarah was very young, she had a little dolly called Hamble whom she treated as her younger sister… Sarah has never forgiven me for cutting the dolls hair and painting her face in a similar tribal style, however I still maintain I would never have painted Hamble and that it was another dolly of much less importance to her!! Here is a part portion of a larger painting I’m currently working on. I liked the how effective her face was cropped in a frame, so I’ve uploaded it as a work to stand on it’s own, eventually I’ll finish the full work and upload it here also :) /
